A victim reported that he had been struck in the head by four suspects while in the parking lot. Responding officers detained four juvenile suspects a short distance away from the station. The victim identified two of the juveniles, and they were arrested. The two arrestees were booked at Juvenile Hall. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Witnesses reported that a male victim may have been stabbed. Responding officers ultimately located a male with an injury to his back, but the male was uncooperative and refused to provide any information. The male was transported to a local hospital for examination. It is not known where or how the injury occurred.
A female patron reported that an unknown male suspect who was standing on the platform, reached through an open train door and hit her on the head with a hard object. Witnesses described the suspect as a black male in dark clothing. The victim declined medical assistance. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect in the area.
A male suspect (Daniel CARTER, 40, Emeryville) brandished a knife at a victim on the train. Responding officers detained Carter and the victim made a citizen's arrest. Carter was arrested for brandishing a knife, and possession of a concealed dirk/dagger. He was issued a prohibition order and was booked at Santa Rita Jail. The victim was not injured.
Witnesses reported two males involved in a fight in the station. Responding officers arrested the aggressor (Kendricx MANANSALA, 24, Daly City) for assault with a deadly weapon, and possession of illegal weapons. The victim suffered bruises to his back. Manansala was issued a prohibition order and was booked at the SF County Jail.
Two suspects robbed a female victim of her cell phone in the 21000 block of Wilbeam Ave. in Castro Valley. The suspects fled the scene northbound on Wilbeam Avenue. An area search was conducted with negative results.
Daryl Lowe (56 years old, Antioch) was arrested for brandishing a weapon and possession of a concealed weapon. Lowe was issued a prohibition order and booked at the Berkeley Jail.
A male stated he was assaulted in the bus zone after asking a female for money. The victim said a male subject knocked him to the ground and tried to stab him. The victim sustained a non-life threatening injury to his hand.
An on-duty BART PD officer, dressed in full police uniform, discharged their service firearm and two adult males were transported to a local hospital for medical attention. A firearm was recovered from the scene. One of the individuals was later pronounced deceased.
Two male subjects (Darnell PERRY, 42 years of age & Anthony ROBINSON, 51 years old) were taken into custody after battering each other with deadly weapons. Arrestee Robinson was also taken into custody for an outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrant. Both were booked into San Francisco County jail after being treated for their injuries and both were issued prohibition orders.
A male and female reported that they were attacked by three suspects in the parking lot. The suspects were described as Hispanic males, aged 30-40. The suspects fled from the station and were not located by responding BART and Hayward PD officers. The male victim suffered major, but not life-threatening, stab wounds, and was transported to the hospital for surgery. The female victim was treated for facial injuries and was released from the hospital. TSOC notified.
A female victim was car jacked by two Black males at the Bay Fair Station. The victim was parked on the west side (Lewelling Blvd side) of the station. One of the suspects held a gun to the victim and demanded her car. A second Black male joined the suspect and they drove off with the victim’s car and purse. Officers responded to the station and searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle. ACSO and San Leandro Police were advised.
Armando Morales (30 years of age, Oakland), detained by an officer at the station for reportedly carrying a concealed weapon (knife), was placed under arrest of violating the terms of his probation and possessing a concealed weapon. He was then booked into the county jail.
Two victims reported being robbed of their wallets and cell phones, about 20 minutes earlier. The suspects were described as three black males, wearing dark clothing, and with their faces covered. One suspect was armed with a handgun. The suspects fled toward downtown Hayward and were not located by responding officers.
Nakiesha McGee (32 years old, Stockton) attacked her boyfriend, who is also the father of her child, on the platform at the Ashby Station. McGee stabbed the victim with an ink pen. The assault continued at the Berkeley Station. The victim suffered a non-life threatening injury. McGee was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the Berkeley City Jail.
A female victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 25-35 years, 6', med build, black sweat suit) approached her as she was walking away from her vehicle to the station. The male, who was holding a large wrench, grabbed her arm to stop her and demanded her property. When she handed over her purse and keys, the suspect immediately used the keys to enter the vehicle and drive away. The victim was not injured and the suspect was not located by responding officers.
William Atkins (30 years old, San Francisco) became upset and threw a soda bottle struck a BART community service officer. The bottle struck the victim who was not injured. Atkins was arrested, issued a Prohibition Order and booked in the San Francisco County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon, trespassing and interfering with transit business.
A male victim reported being robbed while standing on the sidewalk near the bus zone by a man who pointed a gun at him and took his wallet. The suspect, who fled from the area, was wearing a hooded sweater with yellow writing in the front. There were no injuries.
A male suspect (White, unshaven, 30-40 years old, blonde hair, green Army style jacket) was in a dispute with two male adult victims aboard a Pittsburg train at the Lafayette Station. The suspect and victims began fighting on the platform. The suspect stabbed the victims with a pocket knife. The suspect fled the scene and was not located. BART and Lafayette units responded. The victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. The victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
A female victim reported that she was robbed at gunpoint by two black male suspects in the west parking lot. One suspect was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, with his face covered by a bandana. Both suspects fled on foot toward Hesperian Boulevard, and were not located during an area search. The victim was not injured.
A victim reported that a male suspect struck him in the leg with a metal pipe, in an unprovoked attack. The man was detained and positively identified. The suspect was ultimately arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. The victim's injuries did not require medical attention. The suspect was issued a prohibition order and was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
A community service officer near the MacArthur BART station was flagged down regarding a shooting which had just occurred on 42nd Street in Oakland. The community service officer maintained visual of the suspect until a BART officer arrived on scene and was able to detain the suspect. Once officers from the Oakland Police Department arrived, the suspect was turned over to them. An officer saw a male approach another male and put a small plastic bag up to his nose. The officer made contact with the male and determined that he is on probation with a search clause. A search of his person revealed numerous small bags of suspected marijuana and throwing stars. The male (Romell Davis, 39 years old, Oakland) was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the possession for sales and weapon charges.
An officer noticed a male walking through the station with a wooden stick in his backpack. The officer contacted the male, who said that he keeps the stick for protection. The stick was determined to be a billy club, so the male (Henry Coots, 37 years old, Frankfort, Kentucky) was arrested for the weapons possession charge and booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
A patron reported that a male suspect (Black male in a wheel chair) brandished a firearm and threatened him after a verbal altercation. Officers responded to the scene and located the suspect Keith Albert (25 years old, San Francisco). He was identified by the victim and placed under arrest for brandishing a firearm and making terrorist threats. Albert, who is a convicted felon was in possession of a stolen, loaded firearm as well as a large quantity of narcotics and a large sum of cash. Albert was issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for several weapons violations, making terrorist threats and possession of narcotics for sale.
