Juvenile male waiting for ride in bus zone passenger pick up zone. Mother arrives to pick up juvenile, juvenile suspect approaches victim and attacks victim. Victim suffers "slash" to right arm. Victim gets into mothers car and leaves station. BART police contacted at 1512hr from Kaiser hospital in Richmond. Station checked for suspect with negative results.
Male subject called 9-1-1 in the free area of the station stating he had a knife, and was going to kill himself. Officers immediately responded, and transported the subject to San Francisco General Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.
Officers responded to the station on a report by the station agent of a shooting victim seeking help. The victim claimed he had been shot in the leg, topside at 16th Street and Mission. The victim left prior to the arrival of medical and SFPD. SFPD confirmed the shooting in their jurisdiction.
Officers aboard a Pittsburg bound train observed a suspect in possession of a cane sword. The suspect was also in possession of several bindles of heroin and other narcotics paraphernalia. He was arrested and booked.
Officers intercepted a Daly City bound train regarding a suspect with a knife who was creating a disturbance. The suspect was located and found in possession of a large, concealed knife. He was arrested and booked.
A male juvenile was assaulted in the parking lot by up to five other juveniles, one armed with a baseball bat. The victim, who sustained minor wounds, was treated at a hospital and released. The suspects fled in an automobile. A license plate was obtained by witnesses.
With the assistance of Hayward PD, two suspects were detained at South Hayward station for a man with a gun. A gun was found in a carry-on bag belonging to one of the suspects. The reporting party positively ID'd one of the suspects as having the gun. Hayward PD took the case as they had to physically fight one of the suspects. One suspect also had a no-bail warrant.
