Later, Concord P.D., in response to a call from the taxi company, found a stabbing victim hiding in a backyard. This 29-year-old man was found to have a felony warrant for burglary. He was taken to Mt. Diablo Hospital for treatment for a hand injury. He was interviewed by BART police regarding the stabbing prior to this agency booking him on his warrant. 0801-2709 L23 Addendum: The warrant suspect now maintains that he was not stabbed, but that the profuse bleeding and tendon damage to his hand were caused by his striking the teeth of one of his attackers.
