An adult male and female were contacted at the station after the female appeared to be in some distress while in the company of the male. The male was determined to have two outstanding no-bail warrants for spousal battery and also had a restraining order placed on him ordering him not to have any contact with the female in question. While the subject was being searched subsequent to his arrest, he was also found to be an ex-felon in possession of a loaded, concealed handgun. The subject was booked on all aforementioned violations.
A known juvenile offender was observed loitering in the bus stop area by an officer familiar with the former's status as having a probationary search clause. The subject was contacted and found to have a no-bail juvenile probation violation warrant for which he was booked.

Officers responding to a report of a fight on a train at Bay Fair station subsequently arrested one of the involved parties for outstanding warrants charging theft, possession of stolen property and burglary. No action was taken on the battery, which was determined to be mutual.
An adult male who had been detained for fare evasion initially gave a police officer a false name. Upon verification of the subject's true name, a warrant check revealed a felony no-bail arrest warrant for a parole violation. The subject was arrested and booked for falsely identifying himself, and for the outstanding warrant at the Santa Rita jail. 0809-0509. S32.
What started out as a motorist-assist last month resulted in a registered sex-offender being arrested by S.P.U. on a $100,000 warrant for being non-compliant with the terms of his probation. In August, the subject was contacted by an officer when the latter on-viewed him having car problems. The subject was later determined to be a registered sex-offender but it could not be determined if he was in compliance with the terms of his probation. A follow-up investigation determined that he was not. An arrest warrant was secured as a result and S.P.U. was able to find the subject near the Concord station, taking him into custody without incident.
Officers detained a woman who was involved in a fight in the plaza at 16th St. station. The officers determined the woman had a felony warrant for burglary and was taken into custody and booked at the San Francisco Hall of Justice. The other combatant fled and was not found. 0809-0457. L21.
Officers responding to a report of two females involved in a battery determined that it was mutual in nature and neither wished to pursue the matter. The officers, however, found that one party had an outstanding felony warrant for prostitution activity for which she was arrested and booked.
Two plainclothes officers contacted a male adult suspect for narcotics sales. The suspect fled on foot and was captured by Oakland police officers nearby. The suspect resisted violently, injuring two officers before being taken into custody. The suspect was in possession of narcotics and had a felony warrant. Members of the Special Problems Unit targeted ticket scalpers at the Coliseum station this evening during an A's game. Their effort resulted in the arrest of six scalpers, one of whom had a no-bail felony drug violation warrant. Numerous A's tickets were confiscated with A's officials assisting in attempting to trace their origin. L18
Plain clothed Special Problems Unit officers observed a suspect smoking and aggressively harassing patrons. When contacted by the team sergeant, the suspect fled the station to Market Street, where he violently resisted arrest. It took three officers to gain control of the suspect, who was also found to have a $10K resisting arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested and booked.
An adult male detained for fare evasion was found to be a parolee with two outstanding felony warrants for his arrest that included a charge of check fraud. The subject was taken into custody and booked without incident.
Officers detained an adult male suspect for selling BART tickets. The suspect was arrested and booked for warrants totaling $160K ,charging DUI, possession of stolen property and resisting arrest. The suspect was in possession of numerous credit/debit cards, not in his name, which is under investigation.

An adult male detained for fare evasion was subsequently arrested and booked on several warrants including a felony drug violation want. Additional outstanding warrants were for burglary, narcotics violations and theft.
A patron reported that an adult male was at the station, severely beating a dog. The suspect had been punching, kicking and dragging the small dog. Officers arrived, arrested the suspect and booked him for animal cruelty and a $10K warrant. The dog was taken to the Oakland Animal Shelter, then transported to a veterinarian for treatment.
