A station agent reported a person who has a stay away from BART was in the station. Officers detained a person matching the description a short time later after a brief struggle. A warrant check on the subject revealed an active stay away order from all BART stations. The suspect was placed under arrest for violation of a court order and resisting arrest. A search of the suspect’s person incident to arrest resulted in the recovery of a small amount of narcotics, for which he was also booked for. There were no injuries. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest and debrief the subject.

Officers contacted a subject who was sleeping inside the station and was also known to have an active stay away order.  The subject was found to have an outstanding $5,000 misdemeanor warrant out of our agency for altering media fare as well as a stay away order from the Powell St. Station.  Incident to arrest, the subject was found to be in the possession of a crack pipe and an altered BART ticket.  The subject was booked into the SF County Jail for his warrants, possession of a crack pipe, possession of altered media fare, and for violating the stay away order.

An officer noticed an adult male at the station who is known to be on probation with a condition to stay away from BART.  The officer confirmed the order and also determined that the suspect had a no bail warrant for vandalism, threats and assault.  The suspect was booked into the Berkeley City Jail for the warrant and the probation violation.

Officers were dispatched to a call of panhandlers reported by the station agent.  The officers detained one of the subjects and found him to have an active stay away order prohibiting him from the station.  The suspect was transported and booked him into the North County Jail for violating the court order.  A sergeant responded to debrief the suspect and approve the arrest.

A on-duty station agent reported that a male and female were at the station and were involved in some type of domestic dispute.  Both parties stood by and waited for officers to arrive.  Record checks showed that the male was the subject of a served domestic violence protective order, with the female as the protected person.  The order was confirmed and the male was arrested for violating the order.  The female was not injured.  The male was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.

The station agent reported a subject at the station who is known to have an active court order barring him from all BART properties. Officers responded and located the subject in the station’s parking lot, and arrested him for violating the court order. A search of the subject, incident to the arrest, revealed he was in possession of altered BART tickets and a switchblade knife. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the subject. The subject was then booked into the county jail for violating the court order, possessing altered fare media and for possessing the dangerous weapon.

An Officer saw a female that he knew had a prohibition order excluding her from using BART.   The female was also in the transit system without a ticket.  The female was clear of warrants and Dispatch confirmed the prohibition order was valid.  The female was issued a citation for fare evasion and for violation of the prohibition order.  She signed both citations and was released.
