An officer and a sergeant responded to a report of a hearing impaired individual who handed the station agent a note to call 9-1-1. The subject then went upstairs. Upon the officers arrival they found the reporting party and another subject in the plaza level of the station. It was discovered that subject had an active restraining order to stay away from the reporting party. The original violation occurred in Oakland’s jurisdiction. However, because the Oakland Police Department could not give an estimated time of arrival, BART officers took over the case and placed the suspect under arrest. The suspect is to be booked into the North County Jail for violating the restraining order.

The subject was placed under arrest for violating the stay away order, and subsequently booked at the county jail for the violation. No complainants came forward regarding any other criminal complaints.

Officers responded to the station regarding a female’s request for police assistance in dealing with her ex-boyfriend, from whom she is protected through an active domestic violence restraining order. The victim reported that during an earlier telephone conversation, the ex-boyfriend had threatened to beat her and stated he would be at the station. As officers responded to the station, the victim arrived and the suspect appeared there as well. The suspect attempted to speak with the female, but then walked to the platform level. Trains were held out of the station for about four minutes until officers arrived and took the suspect into custody for violating the restraining order; the female declined to pursue any other complaints against the suspect. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect. The suspect was then booked into the county jail for violating the court order.

Responding officers detained the subject at the station, and soon learned that he was also wanted on two outstanding FTA warrants. The warrants, each charging an infraction violation - with bail amounts totaling $1408, were issued by the BART and San Francisco Police Departments, respectively. The officers arrested the subject for violating the court order and the warrants. A search of the subject incident to arrest revealed he was also in possession of narcotics paraphernalia and an altered BART ticket. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the subject. The subject, whose last known address is a homeless shelter, was booked into the county jail for violating the court order, the outstanding warrants, possessing narcotics paraphernalia and possessing the altered BART ticket.
