A station agent reported a “regular” altered ticket seller inside the free area of the station. A wants check of the subject revealed that he was on probation and that a condition of his probation was that he was only allowed to have one BART ticket on his person at any given time. Officers arrived, detained the subject, and found he was in possession of multiple BART tickets. The subject was arrested and booked into the North County Jail for violating his probation.

While monitoring the bicycle racks, an officer observed a subject attempting to sever a bicycle’s cable lock with a pair of sheet metal scissors. The officer responded to the subject’s location and detained him without incident. A subsequent interview of the subject revealed he was unable to demonstrate ownership of the bicycle, so he was placed under arrest for attempting to steal the bicycle and for possessing burglary tools. A subsequent criminal records’ check revealed the subject was also on searchable probation for a previous vandalism conviction. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the subject. The subject was then booked into the county jail for the listed violations.

A records/warrant check revealed the male was on Alameda County Probation and confirmed he could only possess one BART Ticket at a time. The male was placed under arrest for a probation violation and was booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail. A sergeant approved the arrest.

Officers responded to a report of a male and female fighting on a train. Upon investigation, it was discovered the female had scratched the male (her ex-boyfriend) in the face, but medical attention was not necessary. The female also had a court order against her to stay 100 feet away from the male. The female was deemed the dominant aggressor and was placed under arrest for domestic battery and violation of a court order. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest, and a 30 day BART prohibition order was issued to the suspect.

While on patrol, officers were flagged down by a patron and station agent who reported that a subject threatened to hit the patron. The officers located the suspect whom they recognized as a habitual transient in the station. Investigation revealed that the suspect was asking for money and that he threatened bodily harm to two passing patrons (one of them the original reporting party) if they refused. Both victims gave statements and the suspect was positively identified. A wants check revealed that the subject had two $5k misdemeanor warrants issued from the San Francisco Police Department both charging violating a court order. The subject additionally had an active stay away order to stay away from all BART Stations. The subject was arrested and booked into the SF County Jail for attempted robbery, violating a court order and for his warrants. When the sergeant approved the arrest, the suspect refused to answer any questions. The suspect was additionally issued a prohibition order.

The male was taken into custody for the violation of probation conditions and for being out of compliance of his registration requirements. A search of his person revealed a pipe used for smoking methamphetamine, so that charge was also added. He was cited for fare evasion before being booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the other charges.
