Officers responded to a report of a male subject who had his pants down on board a Pittsburg bound train. The officers intercepted the train and located the subject in question. A wants check revealed that the subject had a no bail warrant charging indecent exposure issued by the California Department of Corrections. The subject was arrested and booked into the North County Jail for his warrant, felony indecent exposure, and failure to register as a sex offender, after he was interviewed by a detective. The subject was additionally issued a prohibition order. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest.
A station agent reported that there was a subject he was watching on a monitor who was masturbating underneath a sweatshirt in the station elevator. Officers and a sergeant responded and detained the subject in question. The ISRC was also able to view the incident as it was happening via the cameras. Further investigation revealed that the subject had a stay away order from all BART stations and that he was in the possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The subject was arrested and booked into the North County Jail for lewd and lascivious acts, violation of a court order, and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Officers responded to report of a person exposing his genitals to the station agent. The suspect was detained while on the platform, and positively identified by the victim as the person who exposed his private parts to him. The suspect was placed under citizen’s arrest for indecent exposure. A records check revealed the suspect had prior convictions for indecent exposure. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect. The suspect was also determined to be a danger to himself, and was issued a 30 day BART prohibition order. The suspect will be booked for indecent exposure after a psychological evaluation.
An officer responded to a report of a male subject who had made lewd comments in Spanish towards the 14 year old daughter of the reporting party. The officer arrived and detained the suspect in question. The suspect was placed under citizen’s arrest and booked into the Santa Rita Jail for annoying or molesting a child and additionally issued a prohibition order. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest.
The on-duty station agent observed via camera, an adult male suspect near a street elevator with his pants down around his knees while fondling his genitals. Officers were able to detain the suspect and the station agent positively identified him. The station agent placed the suspect under citizen's arrest for a lewd act in public. The sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect. The suspect was also issued a prohibition order before being booked into the SF County Jail on the above listed charge.
A BART Officer responded to investigate a report of a runaway. He located the 15 year old female runaway and she reported the following. She met a 19 year old male on an internet chat line. He picked her up from her home and drove her to the North Concord Station where the above act (crime) was committed. The suspect was not located. He is described as being Hispanic driving a white SUV. The victim was released to her father.
BART Officers responded to investigate a report of a male exposing himself in public. The suspect boarded an east-bound train. BART Officers intercepted the train at the West Oakland Station and located and detained the suspect. The victim identified the suspect and he was arrested for indecent exposure. A Sgt approved the arrest and debriefed the suspect. The suspect was transported to the San Francisco County Jail.
A victim reported she was sexually battered on 1/14/14, at the Civic Center Station. The victim reported the male suspect whistled at her inside the station around 0000 hours. As the victim approached the suspect, he pushed her against the wall, put his hand underneath her skirt, and groped her buttocks. Suspect was described as a Hispanic or Asian male, dark curly hair, 509, wearing a collared shirt and business attire. The victim did not give a reason for the delay in reporting the crime. An officer completed the sexual battery report.
An officer was dispatched to call a female victim regarding a possible suspicious circumstances report. The officer called the female victim who stated she was currently somewhere in San Francisco. The victim told the officer that she was unable to make it to the station to make an in-person report. The female victim reported the following: The victim stated that earlier in the day, she called her sister and her adult niece to be picked up at the El Cerrito Del Norte Station. The victim said she additionally called a male friend she used to know to meet her there as well. The victim stated when she got to the station, she saw her sister and niece as well as the male acquaintance who was in a silver Audi with paper license plates. The victim said that there was a male and female Hispanic couple in the back seat of the suspect vehicle at the time. The victim stated that she got into the male subject’s car to tell him she no longer needed a ride. The victim stated that when she did this, the male subject drove off against her will and locked the car doors. The Hispanic male, who was seated in the back seat, allegedly grabbed the victim’s breast and when she resisted, both the Hispanic male and Hispanic female pulled her hair and choked her. The victim stated that when she was able to open her door to escape, the male suspect purposefully accelerated his vehicle causing her to fall to the ground and injure her leg and hand. The victim stated she did not go to the hospital. The victim stated she only knew the suspect by name and described him as a Black male, dark complexion, dreadlock hairstyle. While speaking to the victim over the phone, the officer learned that the victim’s sister and adult niece were with her. The officer asked the victim if he could speak to them about what they witnessed but the victim stated that they did not wish to make a statement. The reporting officer will be requesting for station video and officers were assigned to canvass the area for additional video evidence and witnesses. The on-call detective was also notified. The reporting officer attempted to re-contact the victim for additional information but was unsuccessful.
A subject contacted by an officer after requesting he be returned to the nearby county jail, was found to be in violation of his sex registrant status. The subject was arrested for the violation, and a sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the subject. The subject was then booked into the county jail for violating his sex registrant status.
A records check on a subject for indecent exposure revealed an active BART prohibition order. The subject had an active prohibition order from BART property for indecent exposure from 1/1514 to 2/14/14, and was placed under arrest for trespassing. The arrest was approved by a sergeant, and there was insufficient merit to the initial contact to seek prosecution.
A distraught female victim, naked from the waist down, contacted the station agent and reported that her boyfriend had beaten her up and then fled into the station. Patrons saw the male suspect and detained him until officers arrived. Officers determined that the male suspect had raped and beaten the victim on street level, near the station. The victim was transported to Highland Hospital for treatment. Record checks showed that the male suspect had an outstanding $50,000 arrest warrant for domestic violence, held by a Florida agency. The male was turned over to Oakland PD for further investigation.

A female patron reported that she exited the Millbrae Station with three male companions on Jan 1, 2015 at approximately 0300 hours. She then walked to her vehicle and decided not to drive due to her level of intoxication. She slept in her vehicle and when she woke up, it appeared that she had been sexually assaulted. An Investigator and Evidence Tech responded to the scene.
A female reported that she was hearing voices, was feeling suicidal, and wanted to jump in front of a train. Responding officers contacted the woman and determined that she met the requirements for a 5150 W&I detention. The woman was transported by ambulance to Mills Hospital in Burlingame. About two hours later, the hospital notified the department that the woman was reporting that she was raped sometime today at Daly City Station. Officers responded to the hospital and interviewed the woman. During the interview, the woman changed her story and stated that the rape actually took place in the city of Daly City. The investigation was turned over to Daly City PD. Daly City PD notified the department at about 2220 hours that the woman changed her story again and was adamantly insisting that the rape occurred at Daly City Station. A BART Police detective was notified to respond. The victim was transported to San Mateo County Hospital for a sexual assault examination. The investigation is ongoing.
The station agent reported that a male had been in the station for about two hours and had been following the agent around the station. The man was seen putting lotion on his hands and then placing his hands inside his pants and apparently masturbating under his clothing. Officers responded and located the man at Spear and Market Streets. The station agent made a positive identification of the man and placed him under citizen's arrest for committing a lewd act in public. Officers arrested the man and issued him a prohibition order before booking him at the San Francisco County Jail.
Patrons aboard a Pittsburg Bay Point bound train reported an adult male suspect exposing his penis and masturbating. Officers intercepted the train at the Walnut Creek Station and located two victims. The victims identified the male as the responsible and placed him under citizen’s arrest for indecent exposure. The officers placed the suspect under physical arrest, pursuant to the citizen’s arrest, and a sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect. The suspect, however, made suicidal statements and was transported (via ambulance) to the county hospital for a psychiatric evaluation – with a police hold. Upon being medically cleared, the suspect will be booked at the county jail for indecent exposure. The suspect was issued a prohibition order.
A female victim reported that she was aboard a Daly City Train and a male suspect was attacking her and masturbating on the train. Officers intercepted the train, contacted the victim and she pointed to the suspect who was aboard the train car. The male was detained in handcuffs. The victim was interviewed by patrol officers. The suspect matched the description given in another indecent exposure case so a Detective was called in to interview the suspect. A records/warrant check showed the male was clear with no prior criminal history. The male will be booked at Glenn Dyer Jail when the Detective completes his interview and was issued a prohibition order. The arrest was approved by a lieutenant.
A male suspect rode on the escalator behind a female victim. The suspect used a rolled up newspaper to lift the victim's skirt and touch her inner thigh with the paper. The victim pointed the suspect out to officers and he was arrested for committing a lewd act in public. The suspect was issued a prohibition order prior to being booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
A victim reported being a witness to a man who was exposing his penis and masturbating while they were on a Richmond bound train. Officers arrived at the scene and detained a subject matching the description given by the victim. The subject was positively identified by the victim as the person who was exposing himself. The suspect was placed under arrest for indecent exposure and for possession of paraphernalia (as a result of a search of his person incident to his arrest). The suspect was also issued a 30 day BART prohibition order. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect.
A female victim reported that a male suspect boarded an SFO train at 19th Street Station and sat next to her, despite other seats being available. The suspect was described as a black male in his late 20's, about 6'1" tall, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and baggie blue jeans, with black shoes. The suspect began to masturbate under his clothing while looking at the victim. Both the victim and suspect off-boarded at Embarcadero Station. The victim called the police, while the suspect boarded a Pittsburg train. The Pittsburg train was searched at 12th Street Station, but officers were unable to locate the suspect.
