Four female juveniles were arrested at Richmond Station for attempting to rob patrons on a Richmond bound train. The suspects prevented victims from leaving the train and surrounded them in order to steal their cell phones. All four suspects were booked at the Contra Costa County Juvenile Hall for conspiracy to commit robbery and theft from a person, and false imprisonment.

The suspect ran off of the train and as the victim tried to give chase, another male suspect (BM, 16-17 years, black hoodie, blue jeans) tried to trip the victim, but was unsuccessful. The suspects then ran from the area and were not located. The computer could not be tracked. The victim was not injured. Video will be requested.

Officers detained multiple suspects possibly involved in a battery on a passenger while onboard a train. The victim positively identified the suspects and placed them under citizen’s arrest. Suspects involved in the battery were issued citations and issued prohibition orders. One suspect also attempted to rob the victim of her backpack. That suspect was arrested for attempt robbery and battery and taken to jail for the listed offenses and given a prohibition order. The sergeant responded to the scene and approved the arrest.

The victim was aboard a Richmond bound train approaching the Daly City Station when the suspect approached and asked the victim to call his phone. The suspect, a Black male, mid 20-‘s to early 30’s, muscular, 6’02”, started punching the victim in the head and face. The victim handed the suspect his black iPhone 6, and ran from the train as it stopped at the station. The suspect remained on the train as it departed the station. The suspect was not injured and could not identify the suspect. The phone could not be tracked. Train car video was requested.

An adult female was walking through the North parking lot when she was approached from behind by three Black males, 19-20 years of age, all wearing black hoodies and blue jeans. Medical was called and the victim was treated at the scene for a minor injury to her mouth. The victim was unable to provide the information needed to track her phone. Millbrae Bound Train (Between MOS and PPS) - 1702-1982

A female adult victim stated she was aboard a Millbrae bound train, seated in an aisle seat, when an adult male suspect approached her. The suspect grabbed the victim’s left wrist with his right hand while holding a long silver tool (possibly a tire iron) in his left hand. The victim, who was not injured, does not recall the suspect saying anything to her. However, fearing for her safety, the victim gave the suspect her cell phone that she was holding in her hands. Several passengers came to the victim’s aide, at which time the suspect threw the victims cell phone down on the train car floor and fled off the train at PPS. The victim retrieved her cell phone. The suspect was described as a Black male, 28-29, 5’6”, medium build, dark complexion, short dreads, 5 o’clock shadow, facial pock marks, wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering on the back, yellow florescent safety vest, dark grey pants with a green stripe down the pant leg. Officers searched for the suspect, with negative results.

Officer took a report from a female subject who advised a male subject has stolen her purse and pushed her onto the ground while she was walking inside the station. The victim described the suspect as a black male adult, approximately 20 years of age, 5’7” tall, wearing knit hat, a black shirt, white pants and a backpack. The victim sustained an injury to her head and was transported by paramedics to Oakland Kaiser for medical treatment. Although an area check for the suspect was conducted by responding officers, no suspect was located.

Two suspects snatched a purse from beside a victim seated on a train. They attempted to flee, but were caught by other patrons. One suspect escaped, but the other fought with the patrons. The patrons managed to hold the suspect until officers arrived. The victim's property was recovered from the suspect at the scene. The suspect was arrested for robbery from a transit patron and was booked at SF Juvenile Hall. One patron suffered minor injuries to his face during the struggle and was treated at the scene.

Officers responded to a report of a male subject beating a female subject at the station. The officers arrived and located a possible suspect while CSO’s located the victim. Medical responded to treat the victim who suffered from minor injuries and was transported to the Highland Hospital for a pre-existing injury that was allegedly re-aggravated as a result of the battery. Further investigation revealed that the male subject was a dating relationship with the female victim. The suspect was positively identified by the victim. The victim alleged that her boyfriend assaulted and also took some of her property during the incident. The suspect was interviewed by officers. The suspect is to be arrested and booked into North County for domestic violence, robbery, and will additionally be issued a Prohibition Order and an Emergency Protective Order.

Officers detained a suspect for using the station elevator to evade payment of his fare. A warrant check revealed that the suspect was wanted for a $20,000 burglary warrant out of San Mateo County. Further investigation revealed that the suspect was a felon in possession of a Taser weapon and was also in possession of property stolen during a robbery in Millbrae earlier in the morning. The suspect was cited for fare evasion and booked for the warrant, weapon and probation violations. The weapon and stolen property were turned over to the Millbrae Police Department to assist in their robbery investigation.

A male victim contacted San Leandro PD from a local business and reported that he had been robbed at Bay Fair Station about 30 minutes earlier. Officers responded and contacted the victim, who reported that two black male suspects, 25-30 years old, approached him in the west lot of the station. One of the suspects struck the victim in the face with a semi-automatic pistol and stole the victim's cell phone. The victim suffered cuts to his mouth and was taken to Eden Hospital for treatment.

A victim reported that two suspects grabbed her purse and iPhone, struggled with her and managed to take both before running but out of the train and the station. The victim ran after the suspects and fell to the ground, injuring her knee. She refused medical attention for the scrape. Witnesses stopped the suspects and demanded the victim's property. The suspects dropped the purse and later the phone and both were recovered and eventually returned to the victim. San Leandro Police Officers detained two suspects in the area, but the victim was not able to identify them, so they were identified and released. Train/station video will be requested.

The male victim reported that after exiting the station through the south fare gates, he was approached by the black male suspect who panhandled for money. The victim voluntarily gave the suspect a small amount of money, before the suspect demanded the victim’s wallet. The two then struggled for control of the wallet, during which the victim gave the suspect $40. A short time later, the suspect fled, apparently toward the nearby station. Officers responded but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim, who sustained minor hand injuries for which he declined medical attention, further described the suspect as: in his 20’s; 6’ tall; 180 lbs; curly heair; wearing a black leather jacket, and shorts. The investigating officer will search for potential station video.
