Officers were dispatched to investigate a report of an adult male who had been creating a disturbance inside the station and had then broken a large window at the street level of the station by banging it with his head. A lieutenant searched the area, located and detained the suspect nearby. A BART employee responded and positively identified the suspect as being responsible for the vandalism. The suspect was cited and released for the vandalism and some outstanding arrest warrants.

The suspect was arrested for public intoxication, resisting arrest and battery on an officer. The suspect was transported to SF General Hospital for medical clearance prior to booking.

On contact, the suspect immediately became combative and struck one of the responding officers. The suspect was arrested and cited for indecent exposure, battery and outstanding arrest warrants and then held for a psychiatric evaluation.
