Officers responded to the Hayward station to investigate a report of multiple people fighting on a train and on the station platform. Officers detained one suspect who was uncooperative and determined that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for his own safety. Witnesses reported that the suspect had been aggressively bothering other patrons leading to a fight. The victim gave a statement, but declined to press charges. The suspect was arrested and booked for public intoxication and resisting arrest.

Two men who were riding a train began to argue over comments that were allegedly said to a woman on the train. When the train arrived at the Lake Merritt Station, the two men got off the train and began to fight. Officers, who were already at the station, responded to the platform and detained the men. One man fell to the ground during the fight, received a minor injury requiring medical assistance and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The other man was released when the investigation revealed that he did not appear to be the aggressor in the incident. A report was taken and will be forwarded to the District Attorney for review.

Officers discovered that the suspect was also in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and booked for the charges.

The suspects had been involved in a disturbance on a train which was diffused by an off-duty police officer who removed the suspects from the train at the station. Neither suspect desired prosecution and both were released at the scene.

Subject was contacted and had a stay-away court order from the Ashby BART station. Subject was arrested and booked for contempt of court. A second subject acquaintence was determined to be intoxicated and was arrested and booked for being unable to care himself.
