Two males on a Daly City bound train began fighting over the fact that one of the suspects had offered to assist the other suspect's girlfriend. During the fight one suspect hit the other and the other suspect hit the first suspect with an umbrella, causing an injury to the man's head that caused significant bleeding. All of the involved parties were detained either on the train or nearby on the city streets. Based on the investigation, the case will be presented to the District Attorney to determine if anyone will be charged in the case. No arrests were made at the scene. Trains were held for about 10 minutes while the scene was checked for witnesses and evidence and while the man with the head injury was removed from the train.
An officer saw an adult male exit the paid area of the station via the elevator and attempt to walk away without processing a valid ticket to pay for his ride. When the officer contacted the suspect, he discovered that the suspect was on probation with a full search clause. The officer searched the suspect and discovered that the suspect was in possession of heroin, methadone and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and booked for the narcotics violations.
An officer observed a subject passed out on the sidewalk in the bus zone area of the station. The subject had passed out due to alcohol intoxication and had to be transported to a local hospital for further treatment and observations. The subject was later medically cleared and booked at the Santa Rita Jail for the drunk in public violation.
Officers responded to the station to investigate a report of two adult males who were fighting near the station agents booth. During the fight, one of the suspects threw a small object that struck the station agent in the head. The object was not found and resulted in a small (1/8th inch) cut on the station agent's head. Both suspects fled on foot and were not located. Berkeley PD had a similar report of men fighting on the street and did not locate the suspects in that case either. The station agent declined medical assistance.
A suspect contacted for fare evasion was found to have a total of $10,000 in outstanding traffic warrants, including two DUIs. The suspect was arrested and booked at Glen Dyer Jail, Oakland, for the warrants.
An adult male was involved in a fare dispute with the station agent during which he spat on the agent and then fled on foot. The suspect was not located. The suspect was described as a Hispanic Male, 5'6" tall, 150 pounds.
An unknown suspect(s) threw a metal chair at the secondary station agent's booth (14th St. end), shattering one of the booth's glass windows. A station agent preparing to close the station found the damage and reported the vandalism to BART Police. At this time no suspect has been identified and the case is still under investigation.

A subject was verbally threatening to physically harm patrons aboard a Dublin/Pleasanton train. BART Police Officers intercepted the train at the Lake Merritt Station and detained a possible suspect that matched the description. No complainants came forward however the suspect was taken into custody for being drunk in public and booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
Officers were detailed to the Concord station regarding a disturbance between two females on-board a Pittsburg-bound train. Upon intercepting the incident train, officers detained the involved females and soon discovered the disturbance had escalated into a mutual battery prior to police arrival. According to the females, and an independent witness, the entire incident began when one female demanded the other remove her feet from a train seat. A verbal disagreement between the two ensued, which then escalated into a mutual battery. The females sustained minor injuries during the fight, and both declined medical at the scene. Both females, however, placed each other under citizen's arrest for battery.
A subject jumped from the concourse level down onto a Richmond train that was holding on the platform. The subject then jumped from the roof of the train onto the platform and boarded the train. BART Police Officers arrived and took the subject into custody for being drunk in public. The subject was not injured as a result of his leap from the concourse. Officers booked the subject at Berkeley Jail for the drunk in public violation.
An adult male suspect contacted for panhandling was found to have multiple outstanding warrants for burglary and other offenses totaling almost $50,000. The male was booked at San Francisco County Jail for the warrants.
An officer detained an adult male for fare evasion. The male was found to have a no-bail out-of-state warrant, for which he was arrested. A search incident to arrest revealed the male was in possession of (suspected) heroin, syringes and drug paraphernalia. The suspect was then booked for the warrant and charges.

A woman was reported on the track way at Richmond Station walking towards the BART Richmond Yard. The female was detained by a responding BART Police Officer and it was determined that she was attempting to fare evade out of the system. The suspect was cited and released for fare evasion.
Officers on routine patrol detained a suspect for lodging at the Montgomery Street Station in San Francisco. The suspect had an outstanding ten thousand dollar warrant for theft and was arrested and booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
Officers attempted to detain an adult male who had exited the system without paying his fare. The suspect fled on foot, but the officers pursued him and detained him nearby. The suspect was given medical attention for cuts sustained climbing over a barbed wire fence while fleeing and was then cited and released for fare evasion and resisting arrest.
