An adult male contacted for panhandling was found to have a $10,000 warrant for battery and numerous infraction warrants out of our agency. The male was booked at Glen Dyer Jail for the warrants.
A BART Police Officer contacted a suspect at the station for fare evasion. The suspect had an outstanding “no bail” warrant out of Napa County. The suspect was taken into custody and booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail in Oakland.
A male subject was contacted for blocking the free movement of others by laying on the floor in a hallway. Officers discovered the subject had an outstanding, no-bail arrest warrant for parole violation from the Department of Corrections. The male was arrested and booked at San Francisco County Jail.
An adult male contacted for fare evasion was found to be on probation for possession of a controlled substance with a full search clause. A search revealed a small amount of a controlled substance. The suspect was interviewed by the zone sergeant and then booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for the possession charge.
Officers detained an adult male for jumping over a barrier to enter the station. During the detention, the suspect lied about his name and then fled on foot to avoid arrest. The suspect was apprehended after a short chase and it was determined that he was wanted on a no-bail warrant for violation of his parole. The suspect was also found to be in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was interviewed before being booked for the warrant and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

A suspect was reported to be tampering with a marked patrol vehicle at the station. A BART Police Officer contacted the suspect and determined that he was intoxicated in public. The suspect was taken into custody and booked at Glenn Dyer Jail. The subject was discovered to have an outstanding twenty five thousand dollar warrant while at the jail.
An elderly couple was separated at the station as they attempted to off board a train. The husband successfully off boarded however the wife was left on the train. The husband fearing for his wife’s safety reported the incident. BART Police conducted a thorough search of the system and the immediate area but met with negative results. The wife was later located at her church and reunited with her family.
A male adult contacted for lodging in the station was found to have warrants for various municipal codes and for being a public nuisance. The male was booked at San Francisco County Jail for the warrants.
Patrons called to report a male adult panhandling on the train. Officers made contact with the suspect and determined that he had a warrant for his arrest for disturbing the peace. The male was booked at Glen Dyer Jail for the warrant.
Officers were detailed to the station regarding a disturbance between an adult female and male. Upon arriving at the station, officers detained the couple and soon discovered the female was extremely intoxicated and the male was wanted on a NO BAIL DUI warrant. Each adult was booked for their individual violation, and the female's twin 3 year-old sons were taken into protective custody by Child Protective Services.
Several patrons reported to a BART Police Officer that there was an intoxicated female sleeping aboard a Pittsburg train. The officer contacted the female suspect and determined that she was intoxicated in public. The suspect was taken into custody and booked at Glenn Dyer Jail in Oakland.
A station agent reported a white male adult screaming, and kicking orange safety cones on the platform. A BART Police Officer contacted the suspect and discovered he had a current stay away order from all BART stations. The suspect was taken into custody and booked at the San Mateo County Jail.
While responding to a separate call for service at the El Cerrito del Norte station, a BART Police sergeant overheard a female threatening to kill someone. The sergeant then saw a vehicle, occupied by three females in the west lot, rapidly accelerate toward a male. The male, who appeared to be unaware of the speeding vehicle’s direction of travel, safely walked into the bus zone area. The vehicle and it's occupants were then momentarily detained by the sergeant. After a brief conversation between one of the vehicle’s passengers and the sergeant, the vehicle fled from the station and was last seen headed toward a nearby city street. Eventually, the sergeant made contact with the male who advised he was unaware of any (verbal) threats made against him. At this point it is believed the verbal threat was directed at another (unknown) subject in the station’s bus zone area.
A BART Police Sergeant contacted a suspect for a Municipal Code violation. The suspect came back with a five thousand dollar warrant out of Oakland and several infraction warrants. The suspect was arrested without incident and booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
Officers contacted a suspect for fare evasion. The suspect had two outstanding felony warrants. A California Department of Corrections warrant and an outstanding auto theft warrant out of Berkeley. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
An adult male suspect contacted for fare evasion was found to have a valid stay away order and warrants for his arrest. The court order stated that the suspect was to stay away from all BART properties. The male was booked at the San Francisco County Jail for the violation of the court order and his outstanding warrants.
An officer on patrol detained a suspect for fare evasion. During the detention, the officer discovered that the suspect was on probation for a narcotics violation. When the officer asked the suspect if he was in possession of anything illegal, the suspect admitted that he was carrying heroin. The officer arrested and booked the suspect for possession of heroin.
