A taxi cab driver witnessed a male and a female involved in a verbal argument which escalated into a physical altercation. The male suspect appeared to be the aggressor. The first officer on scene detained the suspect (Johnson, Tiontee 6/21/79, Concord) without incident. The subsequent investigation revealed that the male and female were involved in a dating relationship. During the argument, the male grabbed the victim around her neck according to the witness. The victim had redness to her neck area, but declined any medical attention. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Martinez Jail for domestic violence. The suspect was also issued a prohibition order.
A victim reported he was struggling with a male over his laptop when a second male (Austin Lashagway, 20 years, Lafayette) grabbed the laptop and fled. Lashaquway was located and detained, pending identification by the witnesses/victim. Officers discovered Lashagway's backpack contained a loaded revolver with the serial numbers filed off. Lashagway was positively identified and was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail. He was issued a prohibition order. Case is under investigation.
Officers responded to the Bay Fair Station to investigate a report of a male that was drunk and belligerent on a Warm Springs train. Officers contacted Nicholas Kimmons (36 years old, Sacramento) and determined he had been drinking and was unable to care for himself. Kimmons attempted to spit at the officers. He also made threatened the officers. Kimmons was taken into custody, issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the Santa Rita Jail. 1708-2264 L24.
A sergeant contacted an adult female for fare evasion. The female resisted the detention and fought with the sergeant. During the struggle, the suspect bit the sergeant. She was eventually taken into custody. She was found to have a valid stay away order to stay away from all BART stations. She was issued a prohibition order and placed on a psychiatric evaluation hold with a criminal hold for resisting arrest, battery on an officer and violation of the court order. She will be booked on those charges once she has been cleared for booking.
A station agent and a supervisor contacted an adult male for fare evasion. The male spat at the two employees, striking them in the face. Officers arrived and contacted the suspect. He was identified and place under citizen's arrest. The suspect (Jeremy Freeman, 22 years old, San Leandro) was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for two counts of battery on a transit worker.
Officers responded to the Lafayette Station for a report of a male (Jalen Garrison, 23 years, Sacramento) threatening patrons with a knife, spitting on patrons and making terrorist threats on a Pleasant Hill bound train that was stopped at the Lafayette Station. Garrison was located but refused to comply with an officer's orders. Force was used to restrain Garrison and place him into handcuffs. Garrison was identified by several victims. Garrison was issued a Prohibition Order and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for brandishing a weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, and battery.
A train operator was conducting a sweep of an out of service train at the Dublin/Pleasanton Station. A male subject (Mixon, Myron, 30 y/o, Oakland) was awakened and asked to asked o off-board the train. Mixon struck the train operator with a closed fist causing her to fall and strike her head. The train operator positively identified Mixon. The train operator was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The suspect was issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the Santa Rita Jail for battery upon the train operator. The battery appears unprovoked.
A male suspect (Eric Blackmon, 30 years, Hayward) battered a passenger after the passenger refused to give him money, due to aggressive panhandling. Blackmon fled but an officer located him and he was detained. The victim identified Blackmon and placed him under citizen's arrest for aggressive panhandling and for Battery on a transit passenger. The officer violated Blackmon's probation and he was booked into Santa Rita Jail. Blackmon was issued a prohibition order.
A male suspect snatched money from a victim's hand. Responding officers had to physically subdue the suspect. The victim declined to make a complaint. The suspect was booked at the SF County Jail for resisting arrest and was issued a prohibition order.

Incident to the warrant arrest, subject was found to be in possession of a loaded and stolen firearm and narcotics. Witnesses reported a male and female in a fight near the ticket machines. The male pushed the female to the floor, and she suffered minor head injuries. A male suspect attempted to take a suitcase from a male victim while on the platform. The victim attempted to stop the suspect from taking the luggage and the suspect punched him in the face. A short fight ensued and other witnesses intervened to help the victim maintain possession of the suitcase. The victim suffered minor facial injuries during the incident. Officers were able to detain the suspect without incident and discovered that he was in possession of suspected rock cocaine and a crack pipe. He was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for attempted robbery and possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia. The victim was treated on scene for his minor injuries.
Witnesses reported that a male and female were involved in a physical fight on the Pittsburg bound train. The train was held at Walnut Creek while officers responded. Officers detained both parties on the concourse, and ultimately determined that the female was the primary aggressor. She was arrested for domestic violence and was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. The train was delayed about 11 minutes.

A search of his person revealed a quantity of suspected marijuana and methamphetamine. Officers obtained a protective order for the female, who was not injured. The male was issued a prohibition order and was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for domestic violence and possession of narcotics.
Officers responded to a report of two males beating a male victim at the Del Norte Station. Officers arrived and determined a male suspect (Lawrence Harvey, El Cerrito, 46 years) struck the victim with a large stick causing head and shoulder injuries. Harvey was placed under arrest, was issued a prohibition order and was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility. The second male was identified, but his role in this case is under investigation.
Female victim flagged down officers who were conducting a patrol check of the train regarding a subject, later identified as Nathan MAYERS (53 years old, Pittsburg), who was masturbating. The female placed MAYERS under citizen’s arrest and he was booked into Glen Dyer jail in Oakland.
A female station agent reported a male suspect threatening to batter her at the station. The male chased the agent into the employee restroom, where she could secure herself while waiting for officers to arrive. When officers arrived, they contacted the station agent and the belligerent male suspect. He was positively identified and taken into custody. He was also found to have two $10,000 warrants for battery and violation of a court order. The male was issued a prohibition order before being booked into the Santa Rita Jail for making criminal threats and the warrants. The agent was not physically injured.
Two officers were conducting a patrol check of the 8th Street/Market Street stairwell due to high drug activity when they observed a Hispanic male subject holding a plastic sandwich bag. When the male subject saw the officers, he took off running topside. The officers chased after him and eventually located him nearby trying to change his clothing. The officers contacted him and found he was attempting to swallow individually packaged cocaine and heroin. After taking the male into custody, the officers located a fix blade knife concealed in his waistband. The male was transported and booked into San Francisco County jail. L15
An officer and a sergeant were conducting a patrol check of the platform at the station when they observed a male subject who appeared to be looking for his dropped cellular telephone. When the officers went to assist, another passenger directed them to another male who reportedly slapped the phone out of the hand of the male they had seen looking for his phone on the platform. The officers went to detain the male subject who initially didn’t comply with their verbal commands and in fact threw suspected marijuana onto the nearby escalator. When the officer and sergeant grabbed onto his arms, he physically resisted their attempts to place him into handcuffs. The officers pulled the male onto the ground and eventually secured him in handcuffs. Once handcuffed, the subject stopped physically resisting and the officers were able to conduct their investigation. The officers determined the male had battered the other passenger who wished to place him under arrest for the battery. The male subject was transported and booked into Glenn Dyer jail.
Officers intercepted a Dublin/Pleasanton bound train at the West Oakland station after someone reported a Hispanic male creating a disturbance on the train. When the train arrived, passengers flagged down the officer and directed him to the male. The officer determined the male subject was intoxicated and unable to care for himself. The male subject was taken into custody and placed into the back seat of a patrol vehicle. While seated in the back seat, the male subject was able to maneuver the handcuffs to the front of his body. When officers attempted to remove him from the vehicle to handcuff him behind his back, the subject began to fight with the officers. An officer was punched in the face by the subject and several other officers who were on scene assisted in controlling the male subject. The officers and the sergeant who were on scene eventually placed the male subject onto the ground and used force to secure him in the WRAP device. The subject was transported and booked into Santa Rita jail.
Officers arrested a male suspect for battering his girlfriend. When officers attempted to identify the suspect, he provided what was determined to be false identification; his identity was located and he was found to be on active probation. Then, as officers prepared to transport the suspect to jail, the victim became so upset with her boyfriend’s impending booking that she broke several station (wall) tiles. Officers used force to detain the victim in handcuffs for vandalism, and she was eventually released with a citation for the crime. The male suspect was then issued a prohibition order and booked into the county jail for domestic battery, providing false identification to police and for violating probation. A sergeant responded to perform the use of force investigation.
A victim reported being kicked by a male suspect while aboard the train approaching West Oakland Station. Officers located the suspect after he left the train and the station and detained him. The victim responded and identified him as the person who kicked him before placing him under citizen’s arrest. The victim suffered soreness to his lower leg, but declined medical attention.
