Patrons reported that a black male suspect was trying to start fights with patrons on board the Warm Springs train. Officers located the man, who was found to be intoxicated. The suspect spat on one of the officers while being detained. The man was arrested for battery on a peace officer and public intoxication. He was issued a prohibition order and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.

An officer booked a male suspect at the Hayward Jail for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana for sale. The suspect's identity could not be confirmed, and the officer believed the suspect was providing a false name. The officer requested that the suspect's fingerprints be processed. Jail staff was able to discover the man's true identity through the fingerprint check, and learned that he had three outstanding arrest warrants from Washington, for murder, intimidating a witness and failure to register as a sex offender, held by Seattle PD and the King County Sheriff's Office. The man was booked at Santa Rita Jail for possession of narcotics, possession of marijuana for sale, providing false information to a peace officer, and his outstanding warrants.

A female suspect attempted to steal a purse from a female victim as she exited the platform. The suspect punched the victim, but she was able to retain her purse and fled on a bus. The victim went to San Leandro Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. San Leandro PD detained a possible suspect near the station. Responding officers took custody of the suspect and the victim and witnesses positively identified the female juvenile as the suspect. The suspect was arrested for attempted robbery and was booked at Juvenile Hall.

The suspects fled into the surrounding neighborhood, but were detained by Colma and Broadmoor officers. The victim positively identified the suspects. Four suspects were cited for battery and issued prohibition orders. The fifth suspect was found not to be actively involved and was released without charge. All suspects were released to their parents. The victim did not have any visible injuries.

One officer sustained a minor injury, but did not require further medical attention.

The suspect was issued a prohibition order before being booked into the Santa Rita Jail for brandishing a weapon. BART Central was notified of the incident. TSOC was notified.

A train operator reported that as he was passing through the fare gates, a male followed him into the paid area without processing a ticket. The train operator tried to stop the male, who brushed by him and chest bumped him on his way to use the restroom. After using the restroom, the male exited the station and went to the bus zone. A responding officer located him and detained him until the train operator responded and identified him as the person who bumped into him. The train operator, who was not injured, wished to place the male under citizen's arrest for battery. The male was issued a prohibition order and a citation for battery on a transit worker.

A female victim reported that as she walked to her car in the parking structure, two male juveniles approached her, pointed a silver handgun at her, and demanded her belongings. The victim told them that she did not have anything and started to get into her car. One suspect handed the gun to the other suspect and the second suspect pointed the gun at her again. The victim got into her car and the juveniles walked away without any of her property. The victim, who was not injured, called to make the report. An officer at the station located the two juveniles near the station entrance and detained them at gunpoint. After additional officers arrived, the juveniles were handcuffed and one was found to be in possession of a replica firearm. The victim identified them as the two who tried to rob her. The juveniles were issued prohibition orders and booked into juvenile hall for attempted robbery.

The suspect was transported to the Martinez Detention Facility where he was booked for indecent exposure and a probation violation. The suspect was also issued a prohibition order prior to being booked into jail.

A group of four males were reportedly involved in an argument on the platform which escalated into a physical fight. One of the male suspects displayed a knife and made stabbing motions toward the victim. The victim was not injured. When officers arrived, the four males were detained. The suspect armed with the knife was placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon and booked into the SF Jail. The two other male suspects were identified and issued citations for battery, and released. Although the victim provided a statement to the officers, he was less than cooperative and left the scene. The three suspects were all issued prohibition orders. TSOC was notified.

A station agent and a contract employee reported that a juvenile threw rocks at them and struck them with the rocks. The agent reported that the juvenile and a few of his friends went to the platform. Officers checked the platform and located the juveniles. The battery suspect resisted being detained and tried to walk away. Officers and a sergeant had to physically restrain him. The station agent identified him as the responsible person. It was later determined that the suspect had struck them with candy. Neither employee was injured or requested medical attention. The other two juveniles were identified and released to a responsible adult. The suspect was issued a prohibition order and a citation and transported to be released to an adult family member.

The victim, who sustained minor-to-moderate arm and facial injuries, was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment. A sergeant responded to supervise the investigation and approve the arrest.

A female victim called to report that her boyfriend punched, kicked and choked her at the station. While she was on the phone making the report, the suspect returned and battered her again. Responding officers were able to locate a witness, but the victim and suspect were gone. Dispatch had been able to obtain the suspect vehicle license plate via camera. After checking the address of the registered owner, officers located the car and saw the suspect drive the car. An enforcement stop was conducted and the suspect was taken into custody. He was found to be in possession of the victim's cell phone and purse. The victim was later located and transported to be interviewed and medically treated for her injuries. Detectives responded to conduct the interviews/investigation. Once completed, the suspect will be issued a prohibition order, medically cleared and booked into the Santa Rita Jail. He will also be served with an emergency protective order to stay away from the victim.

While aboard a train at the station, a female victim’s cell phone was snatched from her grasp by a male suspect who then ran from the train. The victim chased after the suspect, which in turn captured the attention of a sergeant and officers who were nearby. The sergeant and officers, with the assistance of a Good Samaritan, used physical force to take the suspect into custody. The victim’s phone was recovered and no injuries were sustained by the officers or victim. A lieutenant responded to perform the use of force investigation, and detectives were notified of the arrest. The suspect was subsequently booked into the county jail for grand theft.

The female, who suffered a small laceration to her head and was believed to have momentarily lost consciousness, reported the attack was unprovoked. Officers located the suspect at the station, detained him at gunpoint and eventually took him into custody for the assault. The victim was transported to a local hospital to receive medical treatment, while detectives interviewed the suspect. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and perform the use of force investigation. Subsequently, the suspect was issued a prohibition order and booked into the county jail. Officer responded the station to intercept a train on the report of a physical fight involving two female passengers versus male passenger that was reported via elert. The reporting party had advised one of the females had thrown liquid on the male passenger. Investigation revealed the two female passengers were being disruptive on the train by playing loud music and yelling vulgarities. The male passenger asked the two females to turn down the music, which caused them to get into a verbal argument with him. One of the females shook a can of Red Bull toward the male victim and some of the liquid contents spilled on him. The same female then spit onto the male victim and threatened to kill him. When the officer arrived on scene and attempted to detain the female who had battered and threatened the male, she tried to physically resist him. The officer was eventually able to use force to detain the female. While the officer was trying to detain the first female, the second female used force to try to prevent the officer from detaining the first female. The officer was eventually able to detain both females using force. No injuries were reported by any of the involved parties. The male victim signed a citizen’s arrest for the battery against female who had spit on him. The first female was taken into custody for the criminal threats, battery on a transit passenger and resisting arrest. She was also issued a prohibition order. The second female was taken into custody for obstructing an officer/resisting arrest. Both females were booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for their charges. A use of force investigation was conducted by a sergeant who responded to the scene.

An officer responded to a medical call aboard a train. Medical responded and placed the sick person on the gurney. The sick person requested to exit the rig to urinate, which the paramedics complied. The sick person then punched both paramedics as they attempted to place him back onto the gurney. The paramedics then wished to place the sick person under citizen’s arrest for 243(b) P.C., Battery. The sick person was arrested for battery and issued a prohibition order. The suspect was then taken to Redwood City Jail for booking.
