BART Officers located Arron Goode (2/17/78, Oakland) near the Concord Station and he was placed under arrest for a 1,000,00 187 PC warrant issued by Contra Costa County.
AbdulGabar Mohamed (1/31/78, Oakland) was arrested on the above listed violation in the jurisdiction of the Oakland Police Department. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
148.10 PC, 245B PC, 1203.2 PC - North Berkeley Station Officers responded to the North Berkeley Station to investigate complaints of a subject masturbating onboard a train. The subject, later identified as Johnson, Gregory (11/12/98 San Leandro) off-boarded the train at the North Berkeley Station. When Johnson saw officers, he fled on foot. Officers detained Johnson at which time he spat in an officer’s face and again fled. Berkeley PD officers arrived to assist. Johnson was again detained and taken into custody. Johnson was arrested on the listed charges and booked into the Berkeley City Jail.
SFPD requested assistance locating a male who attacked citizens on the city street and possibly fled towards the Powell Street or Civic Center Stations. Trains were held while the stations were searched resulting in a 16 minute delay. The stations were cleared and trains resumed normal service.
1905-0035- Owens, Ahihud(38 Hayward) was contacted at the Daly City Station and arrested on the listed charges. Owens was transported and booked at the Redwood City Jail. L20
BART PD dispatch received an ELERT report of a male subject who was seen in possession of a firearm in a plaza area adjacent to the BART station. A male subject, Christopher HALL (26 years old, San Pablo), was contacted by BART PD officers and was found in possession of a concealed firearm. HALL was booked into Contra Costa County jail for 25400(a) PC, as well as for violating the terms of his probation.
Around 1755 hours, BART Police received information of a juvenile that was associated with an Amber Alert by Alameda County. Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department stopped the suspect vehicle near the station and detained the suspect. The juvenile boarded a San Francisco bound train and BART Officers intercepted the train at the Pleasant Hill Station. The female was located and detained the juvenile. ACSO responded and took custody of the juvenile and the investigation.
William Lusk Jr. (31, Elk Grove) was arrested for Rape, lewd acts, grand theft, battery, possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia and a parole violation. Lusk was booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
While at the nearby BART station, BART officers were alerted to a male brandishing a handgun in San Francisco jurisdiction. Subsequently, after a brief foot-pursuit, officers arrested Reynald Fino (25 years, San Francisco) for resisting arrest and weapons-related crimes. He was transported to a local hospital as a precaution due to an accidental fall he sustained during the foot-pursuit. After being medically cleared, Fino will be booked into county jail for the listed crimes.
The Oakland Police Department notified BPD to be on the look-out for Curtis Beasley (58 years old, Oakland) who was wanted for an attempted stabbing, which occurred in their jurisdiction. A BPD officer located Beasley on the concourse level of the Coliseum Station. Beasley was detained without incident. A knife was recovered from his person. Oakland P.D. took over the investigation.
Efren Cruz Rodriguez (32 years old, Oakland) was arrested for driving under the influence and booked at the Santa Rita Jail.
The Contra Contra County Sheriff's Department was involved in a vehicle pursuit on Highway 4 which resulted in the driver abandoning the vehicle. The suspect ran onto the trackway extension near the Antioch Station, but was taken into custody without incident after a brief pursuit.
The station was closed for several hours after Hayward Police arrested a person who had fired a shot inside the station. There were no injuries. A joint investigation is being conducted with Hayward Police.
Officers responded regarding a female bus driver that was struck in the face (unprovoked). Officers detained the suspect (Joseph Pulido, 30, Richmond) who was positively identified and arrested. Alameda County Sheriff Officers arrived on scene and took custody of Pulido.
Two suspects robbed a female victim of her cell phone in the 21000 block of Wilbeam Ave. in Castro Valley. The suspects fled the scene northbound on Wilbeam Avenue. An area search was conducted with negative results.
BART officers arrested a robbery suspect (Kevin Marshall STEVENSON, 33 years, Oakland) as he entered the station. A weapon and money were recovered. Oakland Police officers took custody of the suspect a short time later. 1801-04067 L10.
An on-duty BART PD officer, dressed in full police uniform, discharged their service firearm and two adult males were transported to a local hospital for medical attention. A firearm was recovered from the scene. One of the individuals was later pronounced deceased.
Two minors reported that they were walking on 19th Street when three males robbed them of their cellphones, one of the males had a gun. Officers responded and detained 2 suspects, however the suspect reported to have a gun fled the scene. The victims positively identified the 2 suspects as being involved in the robbery. Both cellphones were recovered from the suspects. One suspect was transported to Juvenile Hall and the other suspect was cited and released to a parent. At this time the 3rd suspect is still outstanding.
A victim reported that he was robbed of cash on Market Street, by a suspect who punched him in the face. Officers located the suspect at 7th & Market Streets and detained him. The investigation was turned over to SFPD.
Hayward Police Department requested assistance for a barricaded suspect inside a house. With BART Police Department's assistance, the male (Vishneet Charan, 27 years, Hayward) was taken into custody and was booked into jail
BART Officers responded to the West Oakland Station with Oakland P.D. units to search for Sindel Botelho (20 years old, Reno) and a 4-year-old victim that she kidnapped from his father. Trains were held and searched at the West Oakland and MacArthur Stations with negative results. An on-duty station agent reported seeing the suspect and victim exit the West Oakland Station. Officers detained the suspect without incident. The suspect was turned over to Oakland P.D. units and arrested for kidnapping. L24
Officers located and arrested a robbery suspect (Shaquille Coleman, 34 years) at the Powell Street Station that was wanted on a Ramey Warrant by the Oakland Police Department.
The station agent was contacted by an adult male who reported being shot, in Oakland Police jurisdiction, several blocks away from the station. Oakland police officers responded and took over the shooting investigation, while paramedics tended to the victim. Incident #17-058797
A community service officer near the MacArthur BART station was flagged down regarding a shooting which had just occurred on 42nd Street in Oakland. The community service officer maintained visual of the suspect until a BART officer arrived on scene and was able to detain the suspect. Once officers from the Oakland Police Department arrived, the suspect was turned over to them. The Oakland Police Department ultimately took over the entire investigation as the shooting took place in their jurisdiction. 1709-0920/Oakland PD #17-048230 L15
