Employees reported that two males had entered the station without paying, and then urinated on the platform. Both males, who were in possession of open containers of alcohol, then crossed the tracks from platform #1 to platform #2. Third rail power was dropped and trains were held out until the males were clear of the tracks. Officers responded and detained both men. An employee identified the men and made a citizen's arrest. A search incident to arrest revealed that one man had illegal prescription medication and the other was in possession of brass knuckles. The male with the medication was cited for possession of prescription medication without a prescription, possession of an open container and trespassing on railroad property. The other suspect was booked at the San Mateo County jail for possession of illegal weapons, possession of an open container, and trespassing on railroad property.
Patrons reported two males on the train who appeared to be crushing pills and snorting the powder. One of the males was located and detained for investigation. A probation search revealed a small quantity of suspect methamphetamine on his person. The man was cited for narcotics possession and released at the scene.
An officer contacted a suspicious make in the parking lot. The male, who was working on a vehicle which turned out to belong to him, was found to have a no bail warrant for narcotics. He was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. The male was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the warrant and the possession charge.
Officers contacted a female who was sleeping in the station. Once awakened, the female brandished a broken golf club at the officers. They were able to take the golf club from her and attempted to take her into custody. She resisted the arrest and had to be physically restrained. Once in custody, she was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and a pipe. She was not injured, but medically cleared by paramedics before being booked into the Santa Rita Jail for the listed charges.
An officer heard a female yelling for help on the platform. Officers responded and learned that a male suspect had deliberately struck two females with bags he was carrying. The suspect was located on the train that was holding, and the victims placed him under citizen's arrest. Record checks showed that the man had two outstanding arrest warrants for narcotics offenses, totaling $40,000 bail, held by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office. The man was arrested for battery and for his warrants. However, the man made statements that required he be psychologically evaluated. He was transported by ambulance to John George Pavilion for evaluation and treatment, and will be booked when medically cleared.
The station agent reported a male in the free area possibly using drugs. Officers contacted the male, who tried to destroy the narcotics and run from the officers. They were able to take him into custody and recover a small amount of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia. After being handcuffed, the suspect tried to kick and heat butt an officer. He was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the listed charges.
Officers heard a male suspect banging on a bike lock with a hammer, in an effort to defeat the U-lock. The man was detained and a search incident to arrest revealed burglary tools and narcotics paraphernalia on his person. Record checks showed that the man was on probation for battery out of BART PD, and had an outstanding $5,000 arrest warrant for battery, held by BART PD. The man was arrested and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for petty theft, possession of burglary tools, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, probation violation, and his outstanding warrant.
Officers detained a male suspect for reportedly trespassing on the trackway. A subsequent wants/warrants check of the suspect revealed an outstanding misdemeanor 7,500.00 “stalking” warrant, held by the Solano County Sherriff’s Office, for his arrest. The officers placed the suspect under arrest for the warrant and then found that he was in possession of a controlled substance. The suspect was then booked him into the county jail for the warrant and for possessing a controlled substance. No complaint was sought for trespassing.
A patron reported that a male suspect was trying to cut the lock on a bike on the concourse level of the station, using a pair of bolt cutters. A male matching the description was located on CCTV cameras, and officers detained the man without incident. The man was ultimately arrested for petty theft, possession of burglary tools and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. He was booked at Berkeley Jail.
A patron reported to the station agent that a suspect appeared to be trying to cut locks on bikes at the bike racks. The suspect was described as a black male with a mustache, wearing a black jacket with a hood and a black beanie, in possession of bolt cutters. A male matching this description was located on CCTV tampering with a bike lock. Responding officers found the suspect, who fled on foot. Officers were able to detain the suspect a short distance away. A search of the man's person yielded narcotics paraphernalia. Records checks showed that the man was on probation for theft, possession of stolen property and narcotics violations. The man was arrested and booked at Glenn Dyer Jail for petty theft, possession of burglary tools, possession of narcotics paraphernalia and probation violation.

An officer contacted the male and found he was able to care for himself, but a records check revealed that he had a $15,000 warrant for vandalism. An officer was flagged down by a patron that reported a male was selling narcotics at the Del Norte Station. The officer detained the male and the male admitted to attempting to sell narcotics. The male was placed under arrest for possession of narcotics for sale.
An officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for a red light in the city of Oakland. An outside traffic stop was conducted. The driver of the vehicle was in violation of 12500 CVC and on supervised release. A search of the vehicle let to ACNTF investigators and probation/parole agents being contacted. Interviews were conducted on-scene. The driver and his three passengers were arrested for narcotics violations and were booked at the Glen Dyer, Alameda County Jail in Oakland.

Passengers reported a male playing loud music on the train. Officers intercepted the train and contacted the male suspect, who was determined to have a $5,000 warrant for burglary. A search of his person revealed numerous pieces of ID belonging to other people. He was also in possession of prescription pills packaged for sale. No one wished to make a complaint for the original violation, so he was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for misappropriation of lost property, possession of narcotics for sale and the warrant.
A female victim reported a male suspect masturbating on the train. Officers intercepted the train and contacted both the victim and suspect. The victim placed the suspect under citizen's arrest. The suspect was found to be in possession of concentrated cannabis (wax). He was issued a prohibition order and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for indecent exposure and possession of concentrated cannabis.
A CSO reported a male was sleeping inside a parked car at the MacArthur Station. Officers arrived, contacted the male and learned he was on parole. The male was searched, per conditions of his parole. The male was in possession of Methamphetamines and a glass smoking pipe. The male was placed under arrest and booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
An officer was dispatched to check on a male who was reportedly passed out in the bus zone. A records check of the male revealed a no bail warrant for assault with a deadly weapon. The male was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, so he was cited for the possession charge and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant.
While performing a welfare check upon an adult female/suspect, officers learned she was on probation for battery, which included a condition that she stay-away from BART property. In addition, the officers learned there were two outstanding misdemeanor battery/disturbance related warrants, held by BART Police, for the suspect’s arrest. The officers then placed the suspect under arrest for the warrants, and shortly thereafter discovered she was in possession of a controlled substance. Officers attempted to book the suspect at the Berkeley City jail and the Alameda County jail, at Santa Rita, but she was declined due to a pre-existing medical condition. The suspect was eventually medically cleared at a hospital, and booked at the county hospital.
Two Critical Asset Patrol Sergeants contacted two male and two female suspects who were injecting narcotics in the station. One of the males tried to conceal something in his hand and under his body. The sergeants had to use control holds to get control of his hands and recovered a syringe with suspected heroin. The two females and the other male were issued citations for possession of narcotics and for loitering with the intent to use narcotics and released from the scene. The male who resisted was booked into the San Francisco County Jail for possession of narcotics, loitering with the intent to use narcotics and resisting arrest. A lieutenant responded to the scene to conduct the use of force investigation.
A Critical Asset Patrol Sergeant contacted an adult male who was injecting suspected heroin into himself in the station. He was also found to have two theft warrants for his arrest. The male was booked into the San Francisco County Jail for possession of narcotics, loitering in a drug area and the warrants.
An officer saw a male loading a crack pipe with suspected narcotics at the Civic Center Station. The male was placed under arrest and searched incident to arrest revealed additional narcotics violations. The male was also issued a prohibition order.
