Critical Asset Patrol Officers contacted an adult male for fare evasion and discovered that he had a no bail warrant for vehicle theft and a $10,000 warrant for driving on a suspended license. He was also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. He was issued a citation for fare evasion and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the possession charge and the warrants.
A female suspect activated the fire alarm in the parking structure and removed a fire extinguisher and fire hose from the fire cabinet. She dragged the hose and extinguisher into the elevator, where she abandoned them. Officers detained the female, who admitted that she had recently taken a controlled substance. The woman was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for tampering with fire equipment and public intoxication (drugs).
A patron reported that a male suspect snatched a small amount of medical marijuana from his hand while in the station bus zone. The suspect fled into the surrounding neighborhood, but responding officers detained him several blocks away, after a short foot pursuit. The victim made a positive identification of the suspect and he was arrested for grand theft. The suspect provided a false name to arresting officers. The suspect was booked at Santa Rita Jail and fingerprint records revealed his true identity.
Officers responded to the Fruitvale Station for a report of a man with a gun aboard a Fremont bound train that was held at the Fruitvale Station. Officers located the male, detained him and determined he was in possession of a handgun. The male was also in possession of narcotics. The male was placed under arrest but made suicidal statements. He was transported to a mental health facility with a police hold.
A sergeant and a lieutenant detained a male suspect for reportedly exposing himself in an indecent manner while aboard a San Francisco-bound train. Shortly thereafter, a witness placed the suspect under citizen’s arrest for the violation. A subsequent wants/warrants check of the suspect revealed three (3) outstanding “no bail” narcotic warrants, held by the Sacramento County Sherriff’s Office, for his arrest; he was also on active (narcotics) probation. A search of the suspect also revealed he was in possession suspected narcotics and related paraphernalia. The suspect, who refused to provide a statement, was issued a prohibition order before being booked into the county jail for indecent exposure, narcotics possession, violation of probation and the warrants.

A passenger called to report a male on the train who appeared to be engaged in narcotics activity and also masturbating. Officers intercepted the train at the station and located the suspect. He was found to be on probation with a condition of probation to stay away from BART. He was taken into custody for the violation and also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. He was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the court order violation and the possession charge.
Officers observed the suspect fare evade and attempted to make contact. The suspect, upon seeing the officers, attempted to walk away. The officers had to physically stop and detain the suspect to prevent him from leaving. The suspect was immediately non-compliant and argumentative. Officers attempted to deescalate the situation, but the suspect became more boisterous and refused to identify himself. A sergeant arrived on scene and attempted to reason with the suspect and get him to identify himself. The suspect was advised that if he refused to identify himself, he would be arrested. The suspect refused to identify himself, so the sergeant and officers attempted to place him under arrest. The suspect resisted the officers attempt to handcuff him. The suspect continued to resist the officers and eventually was taken to the ground. The sergeant and officers were eventually able to get the suspect handcuffed. During a search of the suspect incident to arrest, a small amount of contraband was located. There were no injuries to the suspect or the involved officers. The Watch Commander responded to conduct the use of force investigation. The suspect was booked into the SF Jail for possession of contraband and resisting arrest. The suspect was also cited for fare evasion.
Multiple patrons reported a suspect acting erratically on a SF bound train and at various stations along the Pittsburg line. Officer intercepted a train at Orinda Station and located the suspect who was showing signs of being under the influence of narcotics and the suspect admitted recently using "bath salts" and marijuana. The suspect was transported to county hospital for treatment under section 5170 W&I.

An officer noticed an adult male suspect driving slowly through the parking structure and checked the license plate of the suspect's vehicle. While waiting for the return, the officer watched the male park the car and walk away from it. The vehicle returned showed that it was reported stolen. The officer was able to take the male into custody. The male was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, prescription pain killers (not belonging to him), drug paraphernalia, burglary tools and he is on probation for theft. He was transported to the Castro Valley substation where he was interviewed by a detective before being booked into the Santa Rita Jail for auto theft and possession charges.
A male suspect detained for traffic and littering violations by a sergeant refused to identify himself. When directed to step out of his vehicle, the suspect refused to do so while being verbally uncooperative as well. BART and El Cerrito Police officers responded to assist the sergeant, and the suspect voluntarily stepped out of the vehicle a short time later. He was then placed under arrest for resisting arrest/delaying police and for possessing more than one ounce of suspected Marijuana; his driving privilege was also found to be suspended/revoked. The suspect was then booked into the county jail for resisting/delaying police and narcotics possession. No use of force occurred.

Officers responded to investigate a report of a person who was inside a vehicle in the parking lot and slumped over the steering wheel. The suspect drove away before the officers arrived, but the vehicle and driver were located nearby. The investigation revealed that the driver was addicted to narcotics and was in possession of suspected cocaine. The suspect was arrested and booked for the operation of a motor vehicle by an addict and possession of narcotics.
The train operator of a Millbrae bound train reported that a male suspect was smoking crack on the train. The suspect was described as a black male, about 35 years old, wearing an orange hat, a Warriors jersey, and no pants. Officers located the man and determined that he had a valid stay-away order from all BART stations. The man was arrested for violation of a court order. Incident to arrest, a suspected meth pipe was found on his person. The man was booked at the San Mateo County Jail for violation of a court order and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
A female suspect, on whom an officer performed a welfare check, was found to have two (2) outstanding felony “no bail” narcotics warrants, held by San Francisco Police, for her arrest. The officer placed the suspect under arrest without incident, and a female sergeant responded to approve the arrest and search the suspect. The search revealed the suspect was in possession of a controlled substance and she was placed under arrest for this violation as well. She was then booked into the county jail for the warrants and narcotics possession.

Officers searched the man and located a suspected meth pipe on his person. The man was arrested for possession of narcotics paraphernalia and violation of his probation. Officers were dispatched to the parking lot of the station for a report of two males possibly casing vehicles. Both males were contacted in the lot by the responding officers. A record check showed that one of the men was on active parole. Officers conducted a parole search of his person and found suspected marijuana and methamphetamine. He was placed under arrest for the possession of said contraband. Subsequent contact with his parole agent resulted in an additional charge for a parole violation. The second man was released after being identified. There was no evidence of any vehicle break ins. The male was transported to the County Jail.

A male and female were reported to be in a dispute on the platform. The male was seen on CCTV shoving the female onto a train. Officers arrived and detained both parties. The investigation determined that the male had battered the female, who was the mother of his child. The victim was uncooperative and denied any injury. The male was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence. Incident to arrest a small quantity of suspected methadone was found on his person. The male was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for domestic violence and possession of narcotics. He was issued a prohibition order prior to booking. The victim refused an EPO.
