Officers detained a chronic offender for smoking in a prohibited area. Record checks showed that the man was on probation. A search of his person revealed a meth pipe. The man was arrested for violation of his probation and was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
An officer was flagged down by a patron that reported a male was selling narcotics at the Del Norte Station. The officer detained the male and the male admitted to attempting to sell narcotics. The male was placed under arrest for possession of narcotics for sale.
An officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for a red light in the city of Oakland. An outside traffic stop was conducted. The driver of the vehicle was in violation of 12500 CVC and on supervised release. A search of the vehicle let to ACNTF investigators and probation/parole agents being contacted. Interviews were conducted on-scene. The driver and his three passengers were arrested for narcotics violations and were booked at the Glen Dyer, Alameda County Jail in Oakland.
An officer saw a male in the parking structure who was holding what appeared to be a meth pipe. The officer detained the man and discovered that he was on probation for theft. A search of the man's person revealed several burglary tools. The man was arrested for possession of narcotics paraphernalia, violation of probation and possession of burglary tools. He was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
Passengers reported a male playing loud music on the train. Officers intercepted the train and contacted the male suspect, who was determined to have a $5,000 warrant for burglary. A search of his person revealed numerous pieces of ID belonging to other people. He was also in possession of prescription pills packaged for sale. No one wished to make a complaint for the original violation, so he was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for misappropriation of lost property, possession of narcotics for sale and the warrant.
A female victim reported a male suspect masturbating on the train. Officers intercepted the train and contacted both the victim and suspect. The victim placed the suspect under citizen's arrest. The suspect was found to be in possession of concentrated cannabis (wax). He was issued a prohibition order and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for indecent exposure and possession of concentrated cannabis.
A CSO reported a male was sleeping inside a parked car at the MacArthur Station. Officers arrived, contacted the male and learned he was on parole. The male was searched, per conditions of his parole. The male was in possession of Methamphetamines and a glass smoking pipe. The male was placed under arrest and booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
An officer was dispatched to check on a male who was reportedly passed out in the bus zone. A records check of the male revealed a no bail warrant for assault with a deadly weapon. The male was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine, so he was cited for the possession charge and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant.
While performing a welfare check upon an adult female/suspect, officers learned she was on probation for battery, which included a condition that she stay-away from BART property. In addition, the officers learned there were two outstanding misdemeanor battery/disturbance related warrants, held by BART Police, for the suspect’s arrest. The officers then placed the suspect under arrest for the warrants, and shortly thereafter discovered she was in possession of a controlled substance. Officers attempted to book the suspect at the Berkeley City jail and the Alameda County jail, at Santa Rita, but she was declined due to a pre-existing medical condition. The suspect was eventually medically cleared at a hospital, and booked at the county hospital.
Two Critical Asset Patrol Sergeants contacted two male and two female suspects who were injecting narcotics in the station. One of the males tried to conceal something in his hand and under his body. The sergeants had to use control holds to get control of his hands and recovered a syringe with suspected heroin. The two females and the other male were issued citations for possession of narcotics and for loitering with the intent to use narcotics and released from the scene. The male who resisted was booked into the San Francisco County Jail for possession of narcotics, loitering with the intent to use narcotics and resisting arrest. A lieutenant responded to the scene to conduct the use of force investigation.

He was also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. He was issued a citation for fare evasion and booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the possession charge and the warrants.
A female suspect activated the fire alarm in the parking structure and removed a fire extinguisher and fire hose from the fire cabinet. She dragged the hose and extinguisher into the elevator, where she abandoned them. Officers detained the female, who admitted that she had recently taken a controlled substance. The woman was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for tampering with fire equipment and public intoxication (drugs).
A patron reported that a male suspect snatched a small amount of medical marijuana from his hand while in the station bus zone. The suspect fled into the surrounding neighborhood, but responding officers detained him several blocks away, after a short foot pursuit. The victim made a positive identification of the suspect and he was arrested for grand theft. The suspect provided a false name to arresting officers. The suspect was booked at Santa Rita Jail and fingerprint records revealed his true identity.
Officers responded to the Fruitvale Station for a report of a man with a gun aboard a Fremont bound train that was held at the Fruitvale Station. Officers located the male, detained him and determined he was in possession of a handgun. The male was also in possession of narcotics. The male was placed under arrest but made suicidal statements. He was transported to a mental health facility with a police hold.
A sergeant and a lieutenant detained a male suspect for reportedly exposing himself in an indecent manner while aboard a San Francisco-bound train. Shortly thereafter, a witness placed the suspect under citizen’s arrest for the violation. A subsequent wants/warrants check of the suspect revealed three (3) outstanding “no bail” narcotic warrants, held by the Sacramento County Sherriff’s Office, for his arrest; he was also on active (narcotics) probation. A search of the suspect also revealed he was in possession suspected narcotics and related paraphernalia. The suspect, who refused to provide a statement, was issued a prohibition order before being booked into the county jail for indecent exposure, narcotics possession, violation of probation and the warrants.

A passenger called to report a male on the train who appeared to be engaged in narcotics activity and also masturbating. Officers intercepted the train at the station and located the suspect. He was found to be on probation with a condition of probation to stay away from BART. He was taken into custody for the violation and also found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine. He was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the court order violation and the possession charge.
Officers observed the suspect fare evade and attempted to make contact. The suspect, upon seeing the officers, attempted to walk away. The officers had to physically stop and detain the suspect to prevent him from leaving. The suspect was immediately non-compliant and argumentative. Officers attempted to deescalate the situation, but the suspect became more boisterous and refused to identify himself. A sergeant arrived on scene and attempted to reason with the suspect and get him to identify himself. The suspect was advised that if he refused to identify himself, he would be arrested. The suspect refused to identify himself, so the sergeant and officers attempted to place him under arrest. The suspect resisted the officers attempt to handcuff him. The suspect continued to resist the officers and eventually was taken to the ground. The sergeant and officers were eventually able to get the suspect handcuffed. During a search of the suspect incident to arrest, a small amount of contraband was located. There were no injuries to the suspect or the involved officers. The Watch Commander responded to conduct the use of force investigation. The suspect was booked into the SF Jail for possession of contraband and resisting arrest. The suspect was also cited for fare evasion.
Multiple patrons reported a suspect acting erratically on a SF bound train and at various stations along the Pittsburg line. Officer intercepted a train at Orinda Station and located the suspect who was showing signs of being under the influence of narcotics and the suspect admitted recently using "bath salts" and marijuana. The suspect was transported to county hospital for treatment under section 5170 W&I.
