A male subject, Melvin MICHAEL (43 years old, Oakland), was contacted for fare evasion and found to be prohibited from BART stations as a condition of his probation. During a search incident to arrest, MICHAEL was found to be in possession of narcotics. MICHAEL was booked into Alameda County jail for both violations.
A patron called the station agent via the courtesy phone to report a bomb at the Nineteenth Street Station. The station was evacuated and trains were held out of the station. The station was searched with negative results. Artis Thurmond (39 years old, San Francisco) was detained and subsequently arrested for 647 (f) P.C., 11350 H&S and 11364.1 H&S which are unrelated to the bomb threat. Thurmond was booked at the Santa Rita Jail. The bomb threat and Thurman's possible involvement are under investigation.
Oscar Carillo (31, Pittsburg) was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, misappropriation of lost property, false identification to a police officer and outside agency warrants.
Robert Fletcher (43, Transient) was contacted on a welfare check and found to be in possession of narcotics, narcotic paraphernalia and stolen property. Fletcher was also on active probation. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Santa Rita Jail.
Roberto Perez (23, Oakland) was arrested for possession of controlled substances, false impersonation, resisting arrest and an outside agency misdemeanor warrant.
Zachary Wolf (27, San Francisco) was arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia, providing false identification, and warrants totaling $25,000.
A male (Kenneth SPOONER, 47, Oakland) was arrested after resisting a detention. Narcotics paraphernalia was located incident to arrest. Spooner was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
Officers stopped an identified male and a female juvenile for fare evasion at the Lake Merritt Station. Both attempted to conceal their identity and provided false names to the officers. The juvenile was placed under arrest for 3 felony arrest warrants and 11359 H&S. The male was booked for 148.9 PC and will be identifies at the jail.
