While on a cell phone call, the victim’s Dell laptop was stolen from their backpack. The victim provided a description of a potential suspect (white male, mid-to-late 30s; 6’ tall; 220 lbs.; wearing a blue baseball hat, white T-shirt and jeans). An officer responded, but was unable to locate the suspect.

While aboard a Dublin-bound train at the station, a black male suspect suddenly snatched the victim’s iPhone 6-plus and ran from train. The victim was not injured, and the investigating officer was unable to track the phone, nor locate the suspect. Station and train video will be requested.
While aboard a Daly City bound train at the Fruitvale Station, the female victim was confronted by a male suspect who took her iPhone and fled from the train, followed by the victim in pursuit. The station agent saw the commotion and chased after the suspect and eventually caught up the him and retrieved the victims iPhone. The suspect then fled in an unknown direction. An officer is investigating the incident.
An officer took a telephone report from a victim who reported the theft of their vehicle’s catalytic converter. The victim stated he parked his vehicle, a 2005 Honda Element, on the second level of the parking structure on 5/6/2017 at 1400 hours. Upon returning to his vehicle at 1200 hours, he found his catalytic converter to be missing.
The female victim reported that 15 minutes prior, while aboard a San Francisco bound train at the station, a black male suspect suddenly grabbed her iPad and fled from the train as its doors closed. The victim then off-boarded at the next station and reported the theft. An officer contacted the victim, who was not injured, but was unable to track the iPad. A victim reported the theft of their catalytic converter from their vehicle while it was parked at the station. The vehicle was parked at approximately 1530 hours and the owner returned at approximately 2259 hours.

The victim, who was not injured, further described the suspect as wearing an oversized black jacket. An officer contacted the victim to take the report.
