A patron reported that on 12/5/16 between 11:35 and 11:40 an unknown suspect removed her iPhone6 from her purse which was being carried over her shoulder and was open. The victim was on the station platform when the phone was taken, but she did not have any suspect description.

The suspect was not located by police, and the investigating officer was unable to track the phone. The victim was not injured during the theft.
The female victim reported that while aboard a Richmond train a suspect suddenly took her iPhone 6 from her grasp and fled from the train. The victim, who was not injured, was only able to describe the suspect as a black male who wore a beige colored jacket. The investigating officer contacted the victim and completed a report; the officer was unable to track the phone. BART central was unable to determine the incident train’s run number.
A female victim reported that while aboard a Fremont train at the station, a slender (unknown race) male wearing a dark colored hoodie approached her from behind and snatched her iPhone from her grasp. The suspect then fled from the train, while the victim continued aboard and reported the theft when she arrived at the Union City station. The victim, who was not injured, met with Officer D. Bussey. The officer was unable to track the phone. Train video was requested.

Two Critical Asset Patrol Officers were at the station when a male victim pointed out a fleeing suspect and said that the suspect had taken his phone while they were on the platform. The officers chased the suspect and took him into custody as he tried to throw the phone. The victim fell while chasing the suspect, but declined medical attention. The suspect (a juvenile) was issued a citation and released to a parent. Station video will be requested.
The victim made a phone report regarding the theft of a green kayak (unknown make/model) and a Cannondale 21 sp bike, teal, from the exterior of their 95" Ford Tiago RV, which was parked in the West parking lot on 11/6 between the hours of 1200-1620. The kayak was valued at $1,400 and the bike $2,200.
