Officers responded to and searched the Trans-Bay Tube for a report of a male & female that had entered the bore. Officers searched the tube and located the couple. Christopher James (12/7/82, San Francisco) and Susannah Berran (12/24/84, San Francisco) were placed under arrest and booked into jail for 369i(a) PC. Additionally, Berran was booked on two outstanding warrants and 11377(a) H&S. The search resulted in a train delay of 10-15 minutes. TSOC notified.
Passengers aboard an Antioch bound train car were sprayed with pepper spray by a suspect after they complained about the suspect smoking on the train. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The suspect fled from the station prior to arrival of the officers. The area was searched for the suspect but with negative results. Train and station video was requested.
Gaines, Germeny(06/18/91, San Francisco)was contacted at the Dublin Station and arrested on the listed charge. Gaines was transported and booked into the Santa Rita County Jail.
About 2127 hours, BART was notified a PG&E power cable was down, just north of the Fruitvale Station and a south bound train struck the cable. Initial reports indicated the power cable was under the train and was grounding out the third rail. Train service was stopped and trains were turned around between Lake Merritt and the Coliseum Stations. Central requested a bus bridge. BART PD responded to assist with crowd control. Power and train service was restored at 2330 hours.
Williams, Nathaniel (09/24/64 Union City) was contacted at the Fremont Station and arrested on three counts of the listed charge. Williams was arrested ant booked into the Redwood City Jail.
