Witnesses reported a male possibly using narcotics on the train. Officers detained the man (Cameron MACMILLAN, 38, Aromas) and learned that he had an outstanding $40,000 arrest warrant for trespassing, held by SFPD. MACMILLAN was arrested on his warrant and was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
A victim reported that his cell phone was snatched from his hand by a black male teenager, who fled with the phone toward the Bay Fair Mall. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect. The phone was not equipped with tracking.
At 1054 hours, Train Central advised a man was under a train on trackway #2 of the Montgomery Station. SF Fire, BART PD and BART Transportation responded to the station. The man was removed at 1125 hours and transported to an area hospital. BART PD is handling the investigation and train service was restored at noon. Based on station video, no foul play involved.
Officers contacted a female suspect (Amber WYATT, 30, Oakland) for creating a disturbance on the platform. Record checks showed that Wyatt had an outstanding $15,000 arrest warrant for DUI and driving without a license, held by Oakland PD. Wyatt was arrested on her warrant and was booked at MDF.
Patrons reported a male, Gregory Piere (56 years old), had thrown his bike on to the track way at the 16th Street BART Station and then jumped down onto the tracks. Piere left the station prior to the officers arriving and went to the plaza on the street level. Paramedics arrived to assist Piere, however he became upset and agitated. When officers tried to speak with Piere he began acting erractic and a struggle ensued. Piere was arrested for public intoxication, battery on an officer and resisting arrest. Piere was also issued a prohibition order. TSOC was notified.
Officers received a report of a man armed with a firearm leaving the BART station. The suspect had reportedly been involved in an altercation. Officers searched the surrounding area and located a suspect matching the description. Officers contacted the suspect, and the contact resulted in an officer involved shooting. A firearm was recovered from the suspect.The incident is being investigated by the Richmond Police Department and the Contra Costa County District Attorneys Office, per standard protocol.
Officers detained a female for fare evasion and another female Azalia Martinez, 27 years, San Francisco) began interfering with their contact. Martinez was waned not to interfere. She refused and was placed under arrest for interfering/obstructing an officer while performing his duties. Azalia was booked into jail.
A victim reported a man pointed a gun at her and demanded her backpack while in the bus zone. After taking the backpack, the suspect threw the backpack and then fled from the station. The victim’s boyfriend pursued the suspect with negative results. There were no injuries and the backpack was recovered. The suspect was described as a Black male wearing a blue sweater and a white hat.
Jonathan Montoya (19 years old, Bay Point) was detained for fare evasion at the Concord Station. He was cited for fare evasion and arrested for an active misdemeanor warrant. Montoya was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
Benny Wiggins, Jr. (35 years old, Martinez) threatened to commit bodily harm to a female victim on the platform at the Lake Merritt Station. Wiggins was arrested for making criminal threats, issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
Antoine Wagner (34 years old, Vallejo) was detained for causing a disturbance on a Millbrae train which was held at the Ashby Station. It was determined that Wagner was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for his safety. Wagner was arrested for public intoxication. Wagner made threats to harm the arresting officer. He was additionally arrested for making criminal threats and booked at the Berkeley City Jail.
A man had taken another man’s iPhone while on the train. When the victim demanded his phone, the suspect threatened the victim with bodily harm and smashed the phone. The suspect later resisted officers while being taken into custody. The officers received minor injuries but needed no medical treatment. The suspect was placed under arrest for robbery, resisting arrest, and providing false identification to the officers.
While on train, a victim had his $700 iPhone 7S slapped out of his hand and immediately taken by a male as the train approached the station. The suspect fled from the station by jumping over a wall, and was in the company of two other males who did not participate in the robbery. The suspect was described as an 18-year-old Black male wearing saggy jeans and a dark jacket.
A victim reported his $290 black and silver Critical Cycles bicycle was stolen while it was both cable and U locked at the bike racks in the free area of the station between 0815 hours on 11/10/17 to 1700 hours on 11/12/17.
A BART employee reported a burglary of two BART maintenance vehicles that were parked at the Oakland Shops. The burglary occurred between 1600 hours on 11/11/17 and 0645 hours on 11/12/17. An unknown suspect made entry into the toolboxes located on beds of the two Ford F-350 trucks and removed several tools.
Officers stopped a driver (Michael Moura, 50 years, Berkeley) for multiple traffic violations. During thee traffic stop, it was discovered Moura was driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotics. Moura was booked into jail for DUI and a probation violation.
