An adult male jumped over a ticket vendor counter at Civic Center Station and grabbed about $1700 worth of BART tickets and fled. The suspect was known to BART police officers who located him at Powell St. station. The suspect was positively identified by witnesses and arrested for grand theft and burglary. A female was struck in the face, and bit on the arm by her husband while arguing in their vehicle near the bus zone. BART Police arrived, and placed the husband under arrest for spousal battery. A emergency protective order was also issued. The male was booked at the Santa Rita Jail.
BART police personnel tried to make a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle at a gas station. The vehicle fled the scene and crashed into a parked van. A woman standing near the van was injured. The 21-year-old female driver was arrested for evading a peace officer causing injury and auto theft. The 32-year-old female passenger was booked for auto theft and on a no-bail felony narcotics warrant. Most of the tickets were recovered on his person.
A patron in the process of exiting the faregates had his wallet in his hand when another subject tried to take it from him. The victim tried to hold onto it, but the suspect pulled it from his grasp and fled the area with it and was not located.

Two female victims reported a male suspect masturbating in front of them while in the parking lot of the West Oakland Station. The suspect was detained and positively identified by the victims. A subject who was in the station acting irrationally and screaming obscenities randomly attacked a nearby woman without provocation, stabbing her in the back twice with an unknown sharp object. He ran from the station, fled the area and was not located. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment, in critical but stable condition.

Two adult suspects attempted to take an electronic game from a juvenile male. An adult couple intervened on behalf of the juvenile and followed the suspects as they were leaving the station. Fremont PD officers searched the station for two juvenile, attempt commercial burglary suspects. The officers detained one suspect, while a BPD officer found the second suspect aboard a bus. That suspect was in possession of an air-soft replica firearm.
Five teen-aged suspects battered an adult male victim and stole his cell phone. Plainclothes officers located the suspects on the station platform, then chased the fleeing suspects into nearby residential backyards. Four suspects were apprehended, but the victim could not positively identify any of them. The suspects were identified and released.
A plainclothes officer in the station bus zone, observed a male juvenile, possibly in possession of a firearm. Uniformed officers detained the juvenile and recovered a loaded and concealed handgun.
