Officers detained Borland, but found no evidence of narcotics activity. Record checks showed that Borland had two outstanding arrest warrants: $10,000 for larceny, held by Colma PD, and $7,500 for larceny, held by Pleasanton PD. Borland was arrested and booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.

An officer at the Bay Fair Station heard a commotion coming from the platform. The officer learned that several juveniles were involved in a robbery of a patron's Apple MacBook laptop. Officers responded and assisted in detaining the juveniles. The victim positively identified 3 of the juveniles as being involved in the robbery. The 3 juveniles were booked into Juvenile Hall for robbery, providing false information to police, resisting arrest, possession of stolen property and conspiracy. The laptop was retrieved and returned to the owner. There was also a second laptop retrieved, owner unknown.
