Patrons on a Warm Springs bound train reported a male and female involved in a physical fight. Officers detained both parties, but no witnesses came forward to make a complaint. Record checks showed that the female had a domestic violence restraining order against the male (Eric DARNELL, 50, Campbell). Darnell was arrested for violation of a domestic violence restraining order. Narcotics paraphernalia was discovered on his person incident to arrest. Darnell was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.

The subsequent investigation revealed that the male and female were involved in a dating relationship. During the argument, the male grabbed the victim around her neck according to the witness. The victim had redness to her neck area, but declined any medical attention. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Martinez Jail for domestic violence. The suspect was also issued a prohibition order.
