A victim reported that a male subject had taken their wallet and cell phone while on board a train. A description of a similar subject had attempted to to steal another patron's bag earlier, but was unsuccessful. That incident also occurred on a train at the West Oakland Station. The suspect is described as a black male adult, wearing a black jacket (possibly leather)), black shirt, curly hair, and sweating profusely. Officers searched for the suspect with negative results. Officers were on patrol of the station and heard a female in the parking lot crying help at the Daly City Station. Officers responded and discovered a male (Jerry Fairley, 36 years, Oakland) had broken into the female's car and was still inside. Fairley was placed under arrest for auto burglary and was booked into the Redwood City Jail.
