A BART employee’s identification was taken during an auto burglary near the employee’s residence, which occurred between 1730 hours on 5/30/17 and 0430 hours on 5/31/17. An officer took the report and provided the stolen identification information to TSOC.
A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked at the station between 1400-2330 hours. The rear passenger’s side window was smashed to gain entry. The vehicle was ransacked but nothing was taken.
A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked in the parking structure between 0945 and 1902 hours. The right rear wing window was smashed to gain entry and the interior was ransacked, but there is no known loss of property.
An officer discovered multiple vehicles parked throughout the parking structure with window smashes. Some of the vehicle owners reported no loss and did not wish to file a report. Notes were left for the other vehicle owners to contact us upon their return, but none have as of the time of this entry. L17
The victim reported that their 01’ Jeep Commando was burglarized between the hours of 0800-1720 while parked in stall #11209 on the fourth level of the parking structure. Entry was via a window smash and loss was $400 in cash from the glove box.
The victim’s 16’ Honda Accord was burglarized between the hours of 1400 on 5/28 and 1215 hours, today’s date. Loss was an OVA laptop, a BlackBerry cell phone and a pair of yellow women’s high heel shoes. The responding officer processed the vehicle and was able to recover two sets of latent prints.
A patron reported that their 2010 Dodge Charger was burglarized while parked in stall #272, between 0815-2300 hours. An unknown suspect gained entry by unknown means and stole stereo equipment and credit cards.
While patrolling the station’s parking structure, an officer located two (2) burglarized vehicles. The officer noted both vehicles had been entered, via window smash, and ransacked. The vehicles were processed for fingerprints, and a business card was left for each victim – requesting they call police. A cab driver reported that he left the keys to his cab in the ignition and was standing near the vehicle when a suspect jumped in and drove away in the vehicle. Daly City PD located the cab and took a male suspect into custody. The vehicle was released back to the cab driver and the arrest was handled by DCPD.
A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked in the lot between 0900-2130 hours. The rear driver's side wing window was smashed to gain entry and a set of keys were taken. The vehicle was processed for evidence.
