Deshawn Evans (22 years old, San Francisco) was arrested after he punched another patron and tried to take his laptop. Evans was issued a prohibition order and booked into Santa Rita Jail.
Victim reported the theft of his Centurion bicycle stolen from the bike racks on the north side of the station. Bicycle was secured with a u-lock and cable lock. Bicycle was locked on 12/30/2017 at 1830 hours. 1712-1434 L15.

A victim reported the theft of their light blue Scattante 12 speed trekking bicycle from the West Oakland Station. The bike was secured with a U-Lock that was left on-scene, cut in half.
Officers detained a male (Dwight Simmons, 25 years, Oakland) for fare evasion at the West Oakland Station. A records check revealed a no bail warrant for Simmons' arrest and he was booked into jail.
Officers were flagged down by a bus driver about an unruly passenger (Daniel Kim, 20 years, Los Angeles). The bus driver placed him under citizen's arrest for interfering with the business operation (delaying the bus, refusing to off-board) and he resisted arrest. He was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for the interfering and resisting charges.
Officers attempting to tow an abandoned vehicle located a male (Heshimu, Courtney, 45 years, Oakland) sleeping inside the car (which wasn't his). He was booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for tampering with a vehicle and lodging. The vehicle was towed.
Witnesses on board a train reported a male masturbating and touching a female patron on the leg. Officers detained the man (Gabriel RAO, 43, Pittsburg) and ultimately arrested him for indecent exposure, sexual battery and possession of suspected methamphetamine. Rao was issued a prohibition order and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
The station agent reported a male in the station exposing himself. Officers on routine patrol also witnessed the violation and detained the man (Steven SCOTT, 36, San Francisco). Record checks showed that Scott was on probation for lewd acts. Scott was arrested for indecent exposure and probation violation. Scott made statements that required he be evaluated for mental health. Scott was transported to John George Pavilion for evaluation and will be booked once medically cleared.
Officers detained a female for fare evasion and another female Azalia Martinez, 27 years, San Francisco) began interfering with their contact. Martinez was waned not to interfere. She refused and was placed under arrest for interfering/obstructing an officer while performing his duties. Azalia was booked into jail.
Officers responded to investigate a report of a male subject masturbating on platform #2 at the West Oakland Station. After a brief struggle the male subject was detained. No one came forward to press charges against the subject. It was determined that the subject was in need of a mental health evaluation. The subject was placed on a psychiatric detention. The subject was transported to a local hospital. Upon being medically cleared the subject will be issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the County Jail for resisting arrest.
A victim reported her Soma 18 speed road bike from the West Oakland Station. The bike was left inside a Bike Link Locker. A suspect removed the bike from the locker and no indications of a forced entry.
(Tina Wilson, 37, Oakland) was cited for fare evasion and arrested for spitting on an officer, violation of a BART prohibition order, and public intoxication.
A female victim reported that Mageb Hussain (31 years old, San Francisco) threatened to batter her while on a Dublin train. Hussain was arrested, issued a Prohibition Order and booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail for making criminal threats.
A suspect snatched a cell phone from a sleeping patron on the train. An off-duty East Bay Regional Parks PD officer witnessed the theft and detained the suspect (Jimmy CLARK, 65, Transient) until BART officers arrived. Record checks showed that Clark had two outstanding arrest warrants: $5,000 for fraud, held by ACSO, and $1,000 for larceny, held by the Marin County SO. Clark was arrested for theft from a person and his warrants, and was booked at Glenn Dyer Jail.
A patron reported that a suspect snatched her iPhone from her hand in the passenger pickup zone. The suspect was described as a black male, wearing a red sweatshirt and jeans. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect in the area. The phone could not be tracked.
A patron took a photo of an aggressive panhandler (Jasmine Turner, 28 years, Oakland) and she attempted to grab the victim's phone but was unsuccessful. Turner spat on the victim and threatened to physically harm her. Officers located Turner and placed her under arrest for battery and criminal threats. Turner was booked at Santa Rita Jail. Turner was issued a prohibition order.
An officer was struck in the face while attempting to detain a suspect. The suspect fled from the scene, but left his wallet with his identification. A warrant arrest for battery on an officer will be sought via the District Attorney's office against the suspect (Virgil Ard, 29, Oakland).
BART Officers responded to the West Oakland Station with Oakland P.D. units to search for Sindel Botelho (20 years old, Reno) and a 4-year-old victim that she kidnapped from his father. Trains were held and searched at the West Oakland and MacArthur Stations with negative results. An on-duty station agent reported seeing the suspect and victim exit the West Oakland Station. Officers detained the suspect without incident. The suspect was turned over to Oakland P.D. units and arrested for kidnapping. L24
A sergeant and four officers conducted focused enforcement for fare evaders at the West Oakland, Fruitvale and Coliseum Stations that resulted in 15 contacts (four citations, four warnings and one arrest). L22
Officers responded to the West Oakland Station for a report of a male (Jonathon Watson, 27 years, San Francisco) creating a disturbance at the station. Officers determined Watson was too intoxicated to care for himself and was booked into jail.
Norman Beals (25 years old, Oakland) was stopped for fare evasion at the West Oakland Station. Beals was arrested for two $15,000 misdemeanor warrants and booked at the Glenn Dyer Jail.
On 10/9/17 from 0800 to 1000 hours four (4) BART police officers and a sergeant conducted a Focused Enforcement Operation at the West Oakland Station. Ten (10) violators were contacted. Five (5) were issued citations. The officers completed three (3) Field Identifications and made one (1) arrest. The officers also conducted one (1) welfare check. L24
Officers detained a male (Cornell Brown, 33 years, San Francisco) onboard a Pittsburg bound train for indecent exposure. The victim placed Brown under citizen's arrest for indecent exposure and he was booked into jail. Brown was also issued a prohibition order.
A victim reported that two suspects (Black males, 18 years old, black hoodies) attempted to batter him and take his cell phone. The victim defended himself and was able to retain his phone. The suspects fled the scene on foot.
