A man reported that his men’s 24-speed mountain bicycle (unknown brand and model) had been stolen on 04/21/13, between 1545-2130 hrs., from the bike racks in the parking garage. The cable lock which had secured the bicycle was also stolen.
A victim reported his 2006 red BMW convertible was burglarized while it was parked and locked on the second floor of the parking structure between 0830-2036 hours. The roof of the convertible was slashed and a jacket was taken from inside the vehicle. The scene was processed for evidence.
A female victim called into the ISRC to report the theft of her catalytic converter from her 2006 gold Toyota Sequoia (6GHN556). The victim parked in stall #1880 on 2/11/13, about 11:00 hours. When she returned at 1530 hours, she started her car and discovered that someone had cut her tailpipe and removed her catalytic converter. Estimated replacement cost is over $800.00. The victim is from Sacramento and her vehicle is not available for inspection or to be processed for evidence. An officer completed the report.
An argument between a girlfriend and boyfriend on a Dublin bound train resulted in the female pulling the male’s hair and scratching his face and neck. The female was deemed to be the aggressor and was placed under arrest for domestic battery. The victim sustained minor injuries but did not need medical attention. Both parties gave written statements, and a sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest
A victim made a phone report that his 1997 gold Honda Accord 4 door was burglarized while it was parked and locked in stall #243 between 0530-1930 hours. Slight damage was caused to weather stripping on the driver side window, and $15.00 was taken from inside the vehicle.
An officer was dispatched to intercept a Daly City bound train at the West Dublin Station for a report of an intoxicated male who was creating a disturbance on the train. The officer contacted the male and determined that he was too intoxicated to care for himself and that he was on probation with an order to stay away from BART. The male was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Santa Rita Jail for Public Intoxication and Violation of a Court Order.
A male adult victim reported the theft of his black, Men's Trek 7000, 35 speed mountain bike (estimated value $529.00) from the West Dublin Station. The victim parked his bike on 10/16/12 at 0845 hours and locked his bike to the racks (inside the garage) with a cable lock. He returned at 1930 hours and discovered his bike was missing. The victim did not know the serial number on the frame. Case is under investigation and video has been requested.
An adult male victim reported to a BART Officer the theft of his 2003, 4 door, grey Honda Civic, (5CWT667). The vehicle was parked in the structure at West Dublin Station about 0730 hours. Upon returning about 1745 hours, the vehicle was missing.
A patron reported the theft of the catalytic converter from his 1995 Toyota pickup. The vehicle had been parked on the top level of the structure on 8/29 from 0730-1830 hours. The investigating officer will request video from the parking structure.
A patron called to report the theft of his unknown brand blue and gold cruiser bike. The bike was locked with a cable lock on 8/17 at 1230 hours. When the victim returned at 1700 hours the same day, the bike and lock (valued at $300) were gone.
A man reported that his Next 18-speed men’s bicycle had been stolen today from the first floor of the Dublin-side of the parking garage between 0830-1700 hrs. The cable lock, with which the bicycle had been secured to a fence, was also stolen.
A victim reported his yellow 1979 Mercedes 6HYV360 CA. broken into while parked on the third floor in stall #975. This occurred between 1000 and 2055 hours. The entry was made via the driver’s door. Taken were some prescription sunglasses and case. This case is being investigated as part of case 1208-3375. 1208 - 3393 L13
A warrant check on a person detained for acting suspiciously in the structure revealed an outstanding arrest warrant out of Contra Costa County for violation of community supervision. The suspect was placed under arrest on the warrant. Pursuant to the arrest he was found in possession of a controlled substance and ammunition as well as other items. After booking the suspect investigating officers contacted an auto burglary victim and an auto tampering victim at the West Dublin Station (refer to case 1208-3393). The officers showed the auto burglary victim some of the property removed from the suspect. The victim was able to identify some of the property as theirs. Due to the suspect having already been booked they were unable to question him on how he received this property. The other victim reported a window smash but no loss. Officers processed both vehicles and was able to lift some latent prints from both.
A patron reported via telephone the catalytic converter was stolen from her black 2003 Toyota Sequoia while it was parked and locked in the Pleasanton parking structure on 8/14/12 between 0700-2100 hours.
An adult male patron reported the theft of his Schwinn bicycle. He locked his bike with a cable on the racks on the first level of the parking structure about 1030 hours. Upon return about 1720 hours, the bike was missing. No suspect leads at this time.
An adult male patron reported the theft of his Schwinn Ranger bicycle. He locked his bike with a cable on the racks on the first level of the parking structure about 0755 hours. Upon return about 1630 hours, the bike was missing. No suspect leads at this time.
Security officers from Stoneridge Mall notified dispatch of a theft from the Williams-Sonoma store. The male suspect stole a convection oven and fled toward the BART station. The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 40 years old, wearing a dark blue jacket and jogging pants. The video recovery CSO brought up station video cameras and saw a man matching the suspect description, carrying a large parcel, board a Daly City train. Trains were held while officers responded. An officer was able to locate the man on board the train and detain him for further investigation. Pleasanton PD took custody of the man for the theft after he was positively identified by store employees. Trains were held approximately 21 minutes as a result of this incident.
Patrons reported a vehicle with a smashed window and clothes spread on the ground outside of the vehicle on the 3rd level of the parking structure. An officer responded and discovered that the left rear window had been broken out of a Buick Le Sabre and items appeared ransacked in and around the vehicle. Unable to determine if anything was missing, the officer processed the vehicle for evidence and left a note for the owner to call upon their return.
A patron reported that the catalytic converter had been stolen off of their Toyota 4 Runner while the SUV was parked on the second level of the parking structure. The theft occurred on 5/30/12 between 0500-1700 hrs.
