Officers responded to a report of a female disturbing the peace on a train. The woman was detained and record checks showed that she had an outstanding $30,000 arrest warrant for vandalism, held by SFPD. The woman was arrested and booked at Santa Rita Jail.
A victim reported the theft of their black 1999 Honda Civic parked in stall #2489 in the parking lot on the Pleasanton side of the station. The victim parked their vehicle at 0500 hours and returned to find their vehicle missing at 1620 hours.
An officer took reports for six vehicle burglaries that occurred in the parking structure at the station. The vehicles were all parked on levels 3 and 5. All of the vehicles had been entered by window smashes to the front passenger and driver’s side windows. The vehicles were all ransacked and no losses have been reported at this time.
A victim reported their vehicle, a silver 1998 Acura Integra, was stolen from the top level of the parking structure on the Dublin side. The victim parked their vehicle at 0930 hours and returned at 2100 hours to find it missing.
The following three vehicles were burglarized, via window smashes, while parked in the station’s Dublin-side parking structure: black 2016 Ford Focus; gray 2016 Subaru Forester; and a black 2016 Ford Mustang. An officer responded to take the reports. Case numbers 1703-1801, 1703-1802 and
Officer was flagged down by a victim who reported his bicycle to be stolen from the bicycle racks inside the paid area of the station. The victim secured his bicycle, a black men’s 18-speed Kona mountain bike, to the racks using a cable lock on 2/22/2017 at approximately 0730 hours and returned on 2/23/2017 at approximately 1830 hours to find his bicycle to be stolen. The victim was unable to provide a serial number for the bicycle and valued it at $450.
During a consensual contact, an officer learned of an outstanding $5K burglary warrant for the male suspect’s arrest. The officer placed the suspect under arrest for the warrant without incident and then booked him into the county jail.
A victim reported the theft of their women's 26" single speed bicycle from the bike racks. The bike was secured with a cable lock at 1340 hours and when the victim returned at 1920 hours the bike was gone.
The victim reported that their green 2005 BMW X3 was burglarized while parked in the 3rd level of the station’s parking structure, between 1030 and 1857 hours. The vehicle’s right front passenger window was smashed to gain entry and its interior ransacked; the victim was uncertain if any items were taken. The investigating officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints and completed a report.
Three patrons reported that their vehicles were burglarized while parked on the 4th level of the parking structure, between 2030-0220 hours. An unknown suspect smashed the right front windows of the vehicles to gain entry and stole sunglasses, cash and a camera. The vehicles were a black 2016 Honda Accord, a black 2016 Honda Civic and a white 2015 Honda Civic.
A patron reported that their 2013 Kia Soul was burglarized while parked on the Dublin side parking structure, between 1130-1720 hours. An unknown suspect smashed the driver's window to gain entry and stole a backpack containing school supplies. The responding officer also located a second victim vehicle (2012 Honda Fit) parked nearby.
A victim reported that on 10/23 at 1855 hours, a female suspect approached her on the platform and asked to use her cell phone. When the victim declined, the suspect (BF, 18-25, 5'5") attempted to grab the phone from her hand. The victim was able to hold onto the phone, so the suspect began punching her 6-7 times in the head and face. The suspect then fled out of the station, but was not able to get the phone. The victim did not seek medical attention and reported the crime the next day. Station video will be requested.
A victim reported the theft of their gray (unknown name brand) 21-speed women’s mountain bicycle, valued at $100.00, while it was cable locked at the station between 0900 and 1916 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A patron reported by phone that their white 2016 Honda Civic was burglarized while parked in stall #1031, on the 4th level of the parking structure, between 1000-1530 hours. An unknown suspect smashed the driver's window to gain entry and ransacked the interior. The owner could not establish any loss.
A victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 50-55, 6', khaki clothing) took his cell phone from his hand and fled out of the station. The suspect and phone were not located. The victim was not injured. Station video will be requested.
