A patron reported an abandoned suitcase in one of the station’s public restrooms, which the station agent then relocated near the agent’s booth. On opening the suitcase, the agent discovered it contained a large metallic pipe and other items. At this point, the agent notified police who responded and deemed the suitcase’s contents suspicious enough to warrant the closure and evacuation of the station. Two BART Police canines responded and inspected the suitcase, and determined its contents were not explosives; the county’s explosives ordnance unit was consulted as well. As a result of this incident, train service was delayed for approximately forty (40) minutes. 1610-0293 L10. TSOC notified.
Officers responded for a report creating a disturbance on board the train. The officers located and detained the subject in question. A wants check revealed that the subject had a stay away order from all BART stations. The subject was arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility. There was no complainant willing to place the subject under citizen’s arrest.
While performing a welfare check on a male subject, an officer learned of an active stay away order prohibiting the subject from BART property. The officer placed the subject under arrest for violating the order, and booked him into the county jail.
Patrons aboard a Pittsburg bound train reported a male was threatening passengers and cursing at people on the train. Officer intercepted the train, located the male and detained him for assault with a glass bottle. The victim was struck in the head by the suspect and positively identified him. The male was placed under arrest, issued a prohibition order and was booked at the Martinez Detention Center.
A cab driver reported that a female suspect approached him and asked him if he could give her a cigarette and/or alcohol. When he told her he didn't have those items, she spat on him and punched him in the face. Officers arrived and contacted both parties. The male refused medical attention and did not have visible injuries, but placed the female under citizen's arrest for battery. The female was issued a prohibition order and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the battery charge. Station video will be requested.
An officer was conducting a welfare check on an adult male when he discovered that the male had a no bail warrant for kidnapping. The male suspect was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant.
A patron reported by phone that their gold 2004 Chevy Silverado was burglarized while parked in stall #1726, between 0545-1500 hours. An unknown suspect gained entry by unknown means and stole CD's, a GPS unit and a wallet.
A sergeant performed a welfare check on a female subject aboard a north bound train, and determined she was too intoxicated to care for herself due to alcohol consumption. The sergeant placed the subject under arrest for public intoxication and she was booked into the county jail.

Officers responded to a report of a drunk individual. The subject was detained and found to have a no bail parole violation warrant. The subject was determined not to be intoxicated. The subject was arrested and booked into the Martinez Jail for his warrant.
A victim reported that their gray 2008 Honda Accord was burglarized while parked in the station’s north lot, stall #1547, between 0600 and 2100 hours. The vehicle’s driver’s door window was smashed to gain entry. A $250.00 (unknown name brand) camera tri-pod and the vehicle’s Fast Trak bridge toll transponder were taken. The victim declined to have the vehicle processed for fingerprints by the investigating officer.
A sergeant detained an adult female who was reportedly yelling and harassing others at the station. During the detention, the sergeant used a minimal amount of force to overcome the female’s resistive behavior(s), and determined she was experiencing mental health issues. An ambulance eventually responded and transported the female to a local hospital for psychiatric attention. A lieutenant responded to perform a use of force investigation. Neither the sergeant nor the female were injured during the incident.
A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (a Cannondale 27 spd bicycle) to the bike racks today at 0830 hours. The bicycle was secured with a U-Lock. The victim returned at 1830 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $600.
Officers responded to intercept a train on a report of a female suspect who poured water on two patrons on the train. Officers located the involved parties. A records check of the suspect revealed an outstanding felony no bail warrant held by SFPD for a supervision release violation. The suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant. The victims did not wish to pursue a complaint. The suspect was booked into the Martinez Jail on the warrant.
A victim reported the theft of their black Schwinn Suburban bike from the bike racks. The bike was secured to the rack with a cable lock at midnight and when the victim returned at 0650 hours, the bike and lock were gone.
While on patrol, an officer observed and detained a subject (Wilson, Dylan 4/25/92) for fare evasion. A wants check revealed that the subject had a two felony drug related warrants totaling $111k. The subject was arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for his warrant.
Officers responded to the station on a report of two adult males involved in a fight aboard a Pittsburg train holding at the station. Upon arrival, the officers located the two males. The investigation revealed that the suspect, who was intoxicated, began harassing the victim and his girlfriend aboard the train. At one point, the suspect attempted to strike the victim. The victim defended himself and engaged in a physical altercation with the suspect. The victim declined to press charges against the suspect. The suspect was placed under arrest for public intoxication and booked into the Martinez Jail. There were no reported injuries to either of the parties. A sergeant approved the arrest.
A victim reported the theft of their Klein Attitude 21 speed mountain bike from the Walnut Creek Station, between 0700-1800 hours. The bike was secured to the bike racks with a cable lock. Loss was estimated at $400.
