An adult male called the California Highway Patrol stating he was going to jump into the trackway at the Walnut Creek Station. The adult male, who was making threats to kill himself, could be seen straddling the wall which leads to the ground. BART, Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill P.D. officers responded to the call. The station was closed, and trains were held out. Officers were able to talk the male adult off the platform. The adult male was placed on a psychiatric detention per 5150 W&I and transported to a local hospital. Service was restored to the station after 45 minutes.
Marsha Hill (54 years old, Oakland) was arrested for a no-bail warrant and a $10,000 warrant at the Walnut Creek Station. Hill was cited for 640 (c) (1) P.C. and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
A victim reported the theft of her unknown brand black bicycle ($500.00 value) from the Walnut Creek Station. The bicycle was secured to the bike racks with a cable lock and a U-lock between 0700-1715 hours.
Zachary Wolf (27, San Francisco) was arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia, providing false identification, and warrants totaling $25,000.
An adult male (John DOE) was contacted at the station for causing a disturbance. The suspect was uncooperative and was arrested on multiple charges. He was booked into the Martinez Jail where his identity will be confirmed.
A patron reported they used a u-lock to secure their Panasonic Tourist Road Bike ($100) at about 0800 hours. Upon their return, at about 1950 hours, their bike was missing but their u-lock was still intact.
A motorist reported that a male suspect attempted to enter her vehicle while she was driving through the parking structure. Responding BART and Walnut Creek PD officers ultimately detained the suspect (Lowell LIGON, 27, Berkeley) near the parking structure. Ligon resisted being detained and had to be forcibly taken into custody. Ligon was transported to County Hospital for treatment of a minor injury and was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for resisting arrest.
Officers responded to the Walnut Creek Station for a report of a male (Antonio Hayes, 52 years, San Francisco) creating a disturbance at the station. Officers detained Hayes and a records check revealed he was in violation of his prohibition order ordering him to stay away from BART. Hayes was placed under arrest and booked into jail.
Officers were directed to a male (Peter Richter, 34 years, Walnut Creek) that was causing a disturbance by harassing females at the Walnut Creek Station. Richter was determine to be too intoxicated to care for himself began physically resisting when the officers attempted to place him in handcuffs. Richter was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for public intoxication.
