Officers responded to the station to investigate a report of a male needing medical attention. Two patrons were on scene performing CPR on the male. Fire/Paramedics arrived on scene and took over lifesaving efforts. The male was declared deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
Officers arrested Tanita Thomas (31 years, San Francisco) for the listed crimes after she was initially detained for battering a male victim onboard a train; the victim declined to seek a criminal complaint against the suspect. Thomas was subsequently booked into the county jail.
Christopher M. Thevenot (42 years old, Sacramento) was arrested for criminal threats, brandishing a weapon and disturbing the peace. He was issued a prohibition order and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
An adult male called the California Highway Patrol stating he was going to jump into the trackway at the Walnut Creek Station. The adult male, who was making threats to kill himself, could be seen straddling the wall which leads to the ground. BART, Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill P.D. officers responded to the call. The station was closed, and trains were held out. Officers were able to talk the male adult off the platform. The adult male was placed on a psychiatric detention per 5150 W&I and transported to a local hospital. Service was restored to the station after 45 minutes.
Marsha Hill (54 years old, Oakland) was arrested for a no-bail warrant and a $10,000 warrant at the Walnut Creek Station. Hill was cited for 640 (c) (1) P.C. and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
A victim reported the theft of her unknown brand black bicycle ($500.00 value) from the Walnut Creek Station. The bicycle was secured to the bike racks with a cable lock and a U-lock between 0700-1715 hours.
Zachary Wolf (27, San Francisco) was arrested for possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia, providing false identification, and warrants totaling $25,000.
