Donte Clark (28 years old, Fairfield) was arrested for 273.5 P.C., 148.9 P.C. and two warrants with a total bail of $200,000 at the South Hayward Station. Clark was issued a prohibition order and booked at the Santa Rita Jail.
A victim reported being a victim of a grand theft (person) while on a train. The loss was an Iphone X. The suspects were described as two Black Males, teens to early 20's, wearing dark clothing with red accents.
On Thursday, 6/28/18 between 08:15 and 17:15, the catalytic converter was taken from a 1999 Honda Accord which was parked in the parking lot.
Virgilio Herdon was arrested for brandishing a deadly weapon and criminal threats. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
A victim reported that a black male suspect forcibly stole his cell phone while in the bus zone at the station. The victim was not injured. The suspect fled on foot and was not located by responding officers. The phone could not be tracked.
Two patrons had their laptops stolen by suspects on a Warm Springs train which was stopped at the South Hayward Station.
A victim reported a man pointed a gun at her and demanded her backpack while in the bus zone. After taking the backpack, the suspect threw the backpack and then fled from the station. The victim’s boyfriend pursued the suspect with negative results. There were no injuries and the backpack was recovered. The suspect was described as a Black male wearing a blue sweater and a white hat.
While on train, a victim had his $700 iPhone 7S slapped out of his hand and immediately taken by a male as the train approached the station. The suspect fled from the station by jumping over a wall, and was in the company of two other males who did not participate in the robbery. The suspect was described as an 18-year-old Black male wearing saggy jeans and a dark jacket.
Officers stopped a male (Travis Foster, 28 years, Hayward) for fare evading into the Hayward Station. A records check showed Foster had a no-bail arrest warrant and four other arrest warrants. Foster was booked into jail.
BART Police Department personnel along with the Oakland Police Department, Oakland Housing Authority Police Department, Oakland Fire Department and the Hayward Fire Department participated in the 2nd annual Trunk or Treat community event at the Coliseum and South Hayward Stations. A patron on a Warm Springs bound train reported that a male suspect punched him and stole his backpack, containing a laptop computer. The suspect later threw the bag back on the train and the victim recovered his property. The suspect fled in an unknown direction and was not located by responding officers.
A female victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 25-35 years, 6', med build, black sweat suit) approached her as she was walking away from her vehicle to the station. The male, who was holding a large wrench, grabbed her arm to stop her and demanded her property. When she handed over her purse and keys, the suspect immediately used the keys to enter the vehicle and drive away. The victim was not injured and the suspect was not located by responding officers.
An officer detained a female, Valentina Nuanes (32 years old, Hayward) in the parking lot at the station for fare evasion. A records check revealed three outstanding misdemeanor arrest warrants. Nuanes was cited for fare evasion and booked into Santa Rita jail for her outstanding warrants.
9/26/17y, 1553 Hours A victim reported their 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 was stolen from the South Hayward Station, between 0500-1545 hours.

Officers detained a male (Malik Johnson, 20 years old, Hayward) for fare evasion. A records check revealed that Johnson had an outstanding felony robbery warrant and was on active probation. Johnson was issued a citation for fare evasion. He was transported and booked into Santa Rita County Jail for the outstanding warrant and probation violation.
A victim reported the theft of their silver Electra mountain bike from the train. The victim fell asleep between Lake Merritt Station and South Hayward Station and when he woke up, the unsecured bike was gone.
The victim was on board a Fremont bound train between the Hayward and South Hayward Stations, when the suspect approached her, produced a black semi-automatic handgun, and demanded the victim's purse. The suspect took the victim's purse and according to a witness, off-boarded the train when it reached the South Hayward Station. The suspect was described as a Black male, 20-30 yrs, wearing a black beanie, black sweatshirt and black sweatpants. An area check for the suspect was conducted with negative results. The victim was not injured. Train car and station video will be requested.
Victim was seated in front of the station when a black male adult attempted to punch her while grabbing her cellular phone from her hand. The suspect was able to take the cellular phone from her hands and fled into the station. It is believed the suspect boarded a Warm Springs bound train and fled the area. The suspect was unable to be located by the responding officers. Report taken.
A victim reported their 2005 GMC Yukon was burglarized while parked at the South Hayward Station, between 0615-1815 hours. The suspect attempted to start the Yukon and damaged the ignition switch.
Victim reported a burglary to their 2008 Honda Accord while it was parked at the South Hayward Station. The burglary occurred between 2230 hours on 8/26/17 and 1334 hours on 8/27/17. Entry was made via the driver's door window smash. The loss was a phone auxiliary cord.
A victim reported she was walking to her vehicle and was confronted by a Black female that grabbed the victim's two cell phones from inside a bag she was carrying. Loss was an IPhone 7 & IPhone 6.
An officer detained a male (William Nunsuch, 32 years, Hayward) for fare evasion at the South Hayward Station. Nunsuch only provided his name but refused provide additional identification. He was placed under arrest for failing to identify himself and for violating his probation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
