BART Officers responded to investigate a report of a domestic disturbance between a male and female. The male and female separated and the female was waiting for her mother by the agent’s booth. The male then approached the female and punched her three times on the right side of her face and then fled the station. San Bruno PD Officers apprehended the suspect at the nearby mall. The Officer-In-Charge approved the arrest and debriefed the suspect. The suspect was booked at the San Mateo County Jail.
A male battered his girlfriend while at the San Bruno Station with a candle box after the female accused him of taking her money. After the battery, both subjects boarded an East Bay bound train and exited at the Daly City Station where the female reported the incident. The male was gone upon the officer’s arrival. The female victim sustained a minor head injury, but refused medical attention. Video requested.
Patrons on board the Pittsburg train that was approaching the airport reported that a male was creating a disturbance by yelling and cursing at patrons. Officers intercepted the train at San Bruno Station and detained the suspect. Record checks showed that the man had a stay-away order from all BART stations as a condition of his probation. He was arrested and booked at the San Mateo County Jail for violation of a court order.
An officer responded to a reported fight on a train between a man and a woman. Upon investigation, it was determined that only a verbal argument occurred. A warrant check on the man revealed an active restraining order on him against the female. The man was placed under arrest for violation of a restraining order. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest and debrief the suspect.
The adult daughter of a female who suffers from mental health issues reported that her mother had not arrived at her final destination, Concord station, after being dropped off at the San Bruno station on 12/24/13, at 2230 hours. An officer took the report and searched various West Bay stations for the missing subject, but was unable to locate her. Similarly, an officer on the Concord line searched for the subject, but was unable to locate her either. The subject is described as: a White female; 59 years of age; standing 5’4” tall and weighing 110 lbs.; short brown / gray colored hair; last seen wearing dark colored clothing. The subject’s information was entered into the missing persons’ system and local agencies were notified. The investigating officer requested station video from the San Bruno station.
A female victim reported the theft of her handbag while riding a Millbrae bound train. The victim set her bag on the seat next to her and fell asleep. When she arrived at the San Bruno Station, she noticed her handbag was gone. She did not see anyone take her bag but she did see a male subject with a bag that closely resembled hers board a Richmond bound train. Officers intercepted the Richmond train at Daly City but were unable to locate the male. Loss was described as a black fabric bag ($60.00) containing an audio headset, clothing, contact lenses and other items ($650.00). The incident occurred between 1404-1413 hours and the investigating officer has requested station and train video.
A victim reported that while aboard a Millbrae - bound train, an adult male suspect took the victim’s bag as it rested between the victim’s feet. The suspect then off-boarded the train at the San Bruno station, and the victim eventually reported the theft at the Millbrae station. The victim described the suspect as follows: Olive complexion; 25-30 years of age; 5’8” tall; stocky build; long black pony tail; wearing a black jacket. As a result of the theft, the victim lost the following: a messenger bag, cash, a cell phone and a Federal transit card. An officer investigated the case.
A patron reported that ther unknown brand black and gray 16-speed mountain bike was stolen from the racks in front of the agent's booth between 1530-1930 hours. The victim secured the bike with a cable lock.
A patron reported that their black and gray Trek mountain bike was stolen from the bike racks today between 1430-1515 hours. The victim secured his bike to the racks using a cable lock.
A patron reported that their Raleigh 9 Speed mountain bike was stolen from the racks sometime between yesterday and 1135 hours today. The victim secured the bike to the racks using a cable lock and when they returned the bike was missing. The victim valued the bike at $200. A request for video was made by the investigating officer.
A victim reported that they parked their vehicle (a white 4 door 1994 Honda Civic ) on the second level of the parking garage on 07/18/13 at 2000 hours. The victim returned on 07/21/13at 1400 hours and found their vehicle gone.
A male victim reported the theft of his gray Men’s mountain bike. The victim was unsure of the bike’s brand, model and serial number. The victim secured the bike with a cable lock to the bike racks, near the primary station agent’s booth, between 0540 and 1630 hours. The investigating officer requested station video.
The station agent called to report a male in the station, who has a stay away order. Officers responded and confirmed the order. They tried to take the suspect into custody, but he resisted their efforts. The suspect was eventually taken into custody without injury to the officers or the suspect. He was subsequently booked into the Redwood City Jail for the court order violation.
A victim reported his $50.00 purple and green men’s 21 speed mountain bicycle (unknown brand) was stolen while it was cable locked at the station between 1600 hours on 5/24/13 to 1715 hours on 5/29/13. Video hotline notified.
A station agent reported a well-known transient with a stay away order in the station. The suspect boarded a train, which was intercepted by officers at the San Bruno Station. Officers located the male on the train and confirmed the stay away order. The male was booked into the Redwood City Jail for the court order violation.
A victim reported his $40.00 bicycle (unknown brand and model) was stolen while it was cable locked at the station between 0530-1730 hours.
A patron reported by phone that their unknown brand 21-speed bike was stolen from the bike racks between 1500 hours on 3/30/13 to 1000 hours today. The victim secured the bike to the racks with a cable lock.
The victim reported that his 27 speed black and red bike, unknown make and model, was stolen from the bike rack located in the plaza area of the station. The victim locked his bike with a cable and lock on 3/15/13 at 2000 hours and upon his return on 3/18/13 at 1730 hours, discovered his bike was missing. The cable and lock were still in-tact and did not appear to have been cut.
A man reported that his GT 27-speed mountain bicycle had been stolen today from the bicycle racks between 1130-2230 hrs. The cable lock which had secured the bicycle was severed and left at the scene.
A woman reported to San Bruno police that she had been robbed of her Kindle in the passenger-pick-up zone by a young man. A BART police officer met with the victim and took over the investigation. The victim said that the suspect forcibly pulled the Kindle out of her hands and fled eastbound with it into a residential neighborhood. The victim was not injured. (suspect description: B-M, 18-20, 5-7, slim, light complexion, black beanie, grey-hooded sweatshirt, baggy pants)
San Bruno police reported that they were with a female juvenile who claimed to have been the victim of a robbery in the station bus zone. The victim said that another female juvenile punched her on the cheek and snatched her purse. The suspect escaped on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was not injured. A BART police officer responded to the scene and took over the investigation of this case. (suspect description: H-F, 15-16 years old, 5-1, 120, black hair in a ponytail, all-black clothing).
A victim reported his $800.00 beige Huffy 6 speed mountain bicycle was taken from the bike lockers at the station between 2215 hours on 1/31/13 to 1130 hours on 2/12/13.
A patron reported the theft of their bike unknown make and model bike, valued at $80. The patron propped the unlocked bike near the agent’s booth to use the restroom and the bike was missing when they returned. There is no suspect description. An officer took the phone report.
An officer located an adult male who had apparently jumped from the third level of the parking structure. The male made statements to the officer and medics regarding his intent to harm himself. He was transported via ambulance to San Francisco General Hospital for treatment. A detective responded to conduct the investigation. At this time, the extent of injuries is unknown.
The station agent observed a male and female in an altercation inside the station. The male appeared to be preventing the female from leaving by grabbing her and pulling her back. Responding officers, as well as San Bruno PD officers, detained the couple near the station. The investigation determined that the couple, both juveniles, had been dating for five months. The male was the aggressor and the female was not injured. The male was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence and was booked at San Mateo County Juvenile Hall. The female was released to her parents after an Emergency Protective Order was obtained against the male.
