A cleaning crew reported a female blocking the stairwell in the parking structure. An officer responded and requested medical respond for the female, who was unresponsive. Medical staff arrived and declared her deceased at 0110 hours. There were no obvious signs of foul play. It appeared as though the female had been sleeping under the stairwell. Notifications were made (including the on-call detective) and an ID tech responded along with the San Mateo Coroner's Office.
An officer saw a male fare evade into the Millbrae Station and board a San Francisco bound train. The officer detained the male and off boarded him at San Bruno. A records check showed the male had an arrest warrant issued by San Mateo County. The male was cited for fare evasion and was booked on the warrant.
A sergeant detained a male suspect for fare evasion. Record checks showed that the man had three outstanding arrest warrants, for theft, fraud and narcotics violations. The man was arrested on his warrants and was booked at the San Mateo County Jail.
Officers responded to the San Bruno Station for a report of a male spitting on patrons. Officers arrived, detained the male and a records check revealed the male had a 10K arrest warrant. The male was placed under arrest and booked on the warrant.
A BART Officer responded to investigate a report of two Hispanic Males on the trackway. One suspect also stated he had a gun. The subsequent investigation resulted in the two suspects being arrested for warrants. A no bail 602pc out of ACSO and a 50K for public intoxication out of Long Beach PD. A use of force investigation was completed due to the subjects being initially detained at gun-point.
A victim reported the theft of their men’s (black) Trek commuter bicycle, valued at $700.00, while it was cable locked in the free area of the station between 1730 and 2030 hours. An officer responded to take the report.
A victim reported the theft of their men’s black Public brand bicycle, valued at $200.00, while it was cable locked along the paid area racks, between 0900 and 1840 hours. An officer responded to take the report.
An officer intercepted a Millbrae-bound train regarding a male suspect yelling at a female victim. In addition to learning they had previously dated, the officer determined the suspect had punched the victim about the arm as the pair traveled aboard the train. The officer then placed the suspect under arrest for domestic battery, and issued him a prohibition order before he was booked into the county jail. The victim, who declined medical attention and who did not have any visible injuries, also declined a protective order.
A victim reported the theft of their white unknown name brand road bicycle, valued at $150.00, while it was cable locked to the free area bicycle racks between 1745 and 2200 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A sergeant and officers responded to the station regarding a stabbing near the station agent’s booth, which the male victim reported to San Bruno Police officers who subsequently arrested the male suspect. The victim, who sustained a non-life-threatening laceration to his arm, was transported to a hospital for further medical attention while BART officers took custody of the suspect. An independent witness reported seeing the victim and the suspect involved in a verbal dispute before the stabbing occurred. A detective responded to interview the suspect, and an evidence technician arrived to process the scene; the knife apparently used in the attack was recovered as well. The suspect was eventually booked into the San Mateo County jail for assault with a deadly weapon and issued a prohibition order. Station video was requested, and TSOC was notified.
A victim reported the theft of their silver/black Schwinn brand men’s mountain bicycle, valued at $300.00, while it was cable locked in the station’s plaza area between 2030 and 2300 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A male suspect detained by a sergeant and officers for reportedly being intoxicated and challenging others to fight, was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself. The suspect was placed under arrest without incident and booked into the county jail for public intoxication.
Officers were flagged down by the victim of a bicycle theft. The victim reported that he left his bicycle unattended inside the station while he used the restroom and returned to find a suspect walking away with his bicycle. Officers were able to locate the suspect with the bicycle and detained the suspect for theft. Investigation revealed that the suspect was the subject of a stay away order from all BART stations and was also in possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The suspect was arrested and booked for grand theft, violation of a court order and possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The bicycle was returned to the owner.
A female victim reported that as she was exiting her car on the 5th level of the parking structure, a male suspect (HM, 5'10", black sweater with "SF" on it, black denim jeans) approached her and pushed her car door into her as he grabbed her coin purse from her hand. He then tried to grab her car keys from her hand, but she managed to hold onto them. During the struggle, she was pushed to the ground, scraping both of her knees. The suspect fled and was not located by responding officers. The victim refused medical attention on scene, but said she will seek her own. Station video will be requested.
The train operator of a Millbrae bound train reported that a male suspect was smoking crack on the train. The suspect was described as a black male, about 35 years old, wearing an orange hat, a Warriors jersey, and no pants. Officers located the man and determined that he had a valid stay-away order from all BART stations. The man was arrested for violation of a court order. Incident to arrest, a suspected meth pipe was found on his person. The man was booked at the San Mateo County Jail for violation of a court order and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.
Two patrons reported that a male suspect tried to rob them of their cell phone and belongings while on the train. The suspect was described as a black male 35-40 years old, wearing a plaid shirt, camouflage jacket and carrying a stick. The suspect remained on the train to the SF Airport. Officers responded and located the victims at San Bruno Station. SFPD officers located a male matching the suspect description in Courtyard G and detained him. The victims reported that they had fallen asleep on the train and awoke to find the suspect going through their belongings. They challenged the suspect, who punched the male victim and then brandished a knife at the victims. The victims positively identified the suspect and he was arrested for attempted robbery. He was issued a prohibition order and was booked at the San Mateo County Jail.
Officers were dispatched to the bus zone of the station for a report of an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival they contacted three subjects, one whom said that a male subject had swung a wooden board at him after he refused to leave the area that he claimed was his. The subject did not make contact, but did take several swings at him. Two independent witnesses stood by and corroborated the male victim's story. The subject was placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon. A record check also revealed that he had two outstanding warrants totaling $10K. The suspect was transported to the Redwood City Jail and issued a Prohibition Order. There were no injuries to the victim.
A station agent reported that a male suspect chest bumped him and threw a messenger bag at him while they were involved in a fare dispute. The suspect boarded a north bound train and was contacted by officers at the Balboa Park Station. The station agent responded and identified the male as the same person who battered him and placed him under citizen's arrest for battery. The station agent was not injured as a result of the battery. The suspect was issued a prohibition order before being booked into the Redwood City Jail for battery on a transit worker.
