An adult male (Charles KINGSBURY / 36 years old / Oakland, CA) was taken into custody for automobile theft. KINGSBURY was booked into Santa Rita jail.
Officers responded to the San Leandro Station and detained a male (John Doe) that allegedly threatened patrons and committed a battery. The male was placed under arrest for public intoxication and booked into jail. No one came forward regarding the battery.
A victim reported their green two aped mountain bike (unknown model or serial number) was stolen from the San Leandro Station, between 1430-1600 hours. The bike was secured to a bike rack with a cable and paddle lock.

Officers responded to the San Leandro Station to investigate a report of three male juveniles burglarizing a Honda in the parking lot. It appears that two of the three suspects entered a black Honda CRV by defeating the door lock, while the third suspect attempted to enter a silver Honda CRV. After a brief foot pursuit, all the suspects were detained and positively identified. The loss is unknown at this time. The suspects were arrested for auto burglary, conspiracy and resisting arrest. The suspects were issued Notices to Appear and released to their parents/guardians.

An officer detained a male (Robert Blackburn, 45 years, San Francisco) for indecent behavior at the San Leandro Station. A records check showed Blackburn has a no bail warrant and was booked into jail.
A victim reported their cell phone was taken from them while aboard a SFO train that was stopped at the San Leandro Station. Responding officers located the juvenile suspect and he was detained. The victim identified the suspect and he was placed under arrest. The victim's phone was recovered.
A female patron reported that a male suspect spat on her. Officers detained the man (Therren CARMICAL, 38, Oakland) and ultimately arrested him for battery. Carmical was issued a prohibition order and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
A victim reported the theft of their Thruster "Fixie" bicycle from the San Leandro Station. The bicycle was stolen on 9/21/17 between 1300 and 2215 hours. The bicycle was secured with a cable lock.
Officers detained a male (Suliman Ahmed, 24 years old, San Leandro) for fare evasion. Ahmed initially falsely identified himself. Further investigation revealed that Ahmed was in violation of a court order to stay away from two individuals that he was with. Ahmed was arrested for falsely identifying himself and for violating the court order. Ahmed was transported and booked into Santa Rita County Jail.
A victim reported their 1991 Toyota Corolla was burglarized while parked at the San Leandro Station, between 0745-1844 hours. The drivers window was smashed. Loss was a battery.

A male patron attempting to board a train pushed other patrons. He was then punched by another patron who he pushed. The subsequent investigation determined that the incident was "mutual combat." No arrest made.
On todays date, a reporting party advised that he saw a suspect from a previous assault case. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. The suspect was taken to jail for the above violations and given a prohibition order.
A witness reported that a male suspect was attempting to break into cars in the lot. Officers detained the man and ultimately determined that he had permission to enter the vehicle. Record checks showed that the man had two outstanding no-bail arrest warrants for narcotics violations, held by Stockton PD and the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office. The man was arrested on his warrants and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
An adult male (Redden, Ishmael 56 y/o, San Leandro) was contacted for suspicious activity at the San Leandro Station. A records check revealed a felony warrant issued by the Napa County Sheriff's Office. The male was booked at the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin for the warrant.
Telephone report taken from victim who reported their vehicle burglarized while it was parked at the San Leandro Station. The vehicle was locked when it was parked and found unsecured upon the victim's return. The vehicle was entered by unknown means and loss was the car stereo.
