A victim reported their Specialized hybrid bike was stolen from the Rockridge Station. The bike was secured to a bike rack in the free area with a U-Lock.
A victim reported a burglary to their vehicle while it was parked at the station in stall 569. The vehicle was parked at approximately 1930 hours and the owner returned at approximately 2210 hours to find the rear passenger side window to be smashed out. Loss was $100 in cash.

A female victim reported that a male suspect (BM, 18-19 years, 5'8"-5'9", golden brown afro, black sweater) grabbed her iPhone 6 from her hand while she was on the platform. The suspect and an accomplice (BM, same approximate age and size, no further description) then ran out of the station. The suspects were not located. The victim was not injured. The phone could not be tracked. Station video will be requested.
The victim reported the theft of the catalytic converter from their 11’ Honda Element on 3/25 between the hours of 1545-2015.
A victim reported the theft of the catalytic converter from his Honda Element between 0900-1600 hours. The vehicle was parked in the west lot.
A patron reported seeing a male and female involved in some sort of a dispute in the parking lot near the station entrance. The reporting party believed that the female was in danger and officers responded to check her welfare. On arrival, officers found the male and female involved in sexual activity in the parking lot. Officers determined that the woman had not consented to sex and the male was detained for investigation of possible sexual assault. The on-call detective responded and interviewed both parties. The male was ultimately arrested for rape and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
A victim reported their 2001 Toyota Camry was burglarized while parked at the Rockridge Station, between 0640-1920 hours.
While performing a welfare check of a male subject aboard a train, an officer learned the subject was in violation of his probation as he was in the paid area without a valid BART ticket. The subject was placed under arrest for the violation, and then booked into the county jail.
Officers responded to the station on a report of a male suspect creating a disturbance. Officers located the suspect and quickly determined he was too intoxicated to care for himself. The suspect was placed under arrest. A records check revealed the suspect was on probation for public intoxication. The suspect will be booked into the Santa Rita Jail for public intoxication and violation of his probation.
A victim reported via telephone the theft of the catalytic converter from their 2002 Honda. The converter was taken while the vehicle was parked at the station on 12/16 between 0630-1530 hours.
A victim reported that a male had threatened to kill him and followed him through the train until they both off boarded the train at the Rockridge Station. Officers contacted both parties and discovered that the suspect had a no bail warrant for resisting arrest. The victim placed him under citizen's arrest for the threats, so the suspect was issued a prohibition order before being booked into the Glenn Dyer Jail for criminal threats and the warrant.
An officer responded to the Rockridge Station for a report of a juvenile female that was creating a disturbance. The female was determined to be a ward of the court and was transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
A female victim reported that while in the station’s parking lot, adjacent to the nearby market hall, four (4) black female juveniles attacked and forcibly took her backpack. The suspects then fled towards the nearby Trader Joe’s store in a white late model Nissan sedan. An officer responded, but was unable to locate the suspects. The victim was not injured and declined medical attention. Station video requested.

A victim called to report that a suspect (BM, 18yrs, 5'8", 140. blue shirt, blue jeans) grabbed her iPhone 6 from her hand as the train pulled into the station and the suspect fled (along with 5 other juveniles) out of the station. The victim stayed on the train and reported the crime at the North Concord Station. Train and station video will be requested. The victim was not injured.
A victim reported the theft of their grey 15-speed Specialized road bike from the bike racks. The bike, which was secured with a U-lock and a cable lock, was taken between 1600 hours on 10/22 and 0200 hours on 10/23.
An officer noticed a vehicle parked in stall # 558 up on cinder blocks with three of the four rims and tires missing. The officer attempted to contact the registered owner but was unsuccessful. A business card was left to contact us upon their return. 2016-048783 L14

An officer was flagged down by the victim of an attempted cell phone theft. The victim advised that she was standing outside of her vehicle smoking a cigarette when the suspect, a Black male, wearing a tan hoodie and a bandana on his face, rode up on a bike and snatched the phone from her hand. The victim chased the suspect, nearly catching him, before he discarding the phone. The victim recovered her phone and the suspect fled. The victim was not injured.
