An adult male struck his adult wife in the face. The suspect was arrested and booked for domestic violence.
07-07-06 1815 hrs. A 34-year-old suspect called a cell-phone theft victim offering to sell her back her phone. BART police officers detained the suspect when he arrived to meet the victim. The suspect, already on parole for a narcotics offense, was arrested when he was found to be in possession of the stolen cell phone and crack cocaine packaged for sale.
A citizen reported that she was approached by an adult male who asked to use her cellphone when the latter suddenly snatched it from her possession and fled.
A group home in Stockton called and reported that one of their 16-year-old residents was the victim of a robbery at the Richmond station on Friday, June 30, 2006, 16:00-17:00 hours. The victim reportedly was attacked by six to seven suspects. The victim was knocked to the ground and kicked in the head. Injuries included a black eye and abrasions. Loss was a baseball bat and $2.00 in change.
An officer on patrol at Richmond Station was contacted by a robbery victim who said he had been robbed of his cell phone by three juveniles riding scooters. The officer stopped one possible suspect, but the victim did not wish to make an identification, and the suspect was released. The same officer had just taken a robbery report by phone from a victim who lost cash and a cell phone to similarly described suspects (incident occurred three hours previously).
A female juvenile was assaulted and battered by four female juveniles in the bus zone. The suspects, known to the victim, managed to flee the area. The victim sustained facial injuries.
While closing the Richmond Station an intoxicated adult male patron shoved a BART Police Officer from behind into another BART Police Officer. A local resident observed several automobiles being broken into. Responding officers apprehended one of two suspects. The second suspect fled into the neighborhood and managed to elude capture.
Officers were taking a stolen auto report when the victim observed his car being driven into the Richmond BART station parking lot. The suspect exited the vehicle and fled. Officers arrested the suspect in a nearby construction yard. The suspect was on parole and was booked for auto theft and outstanding warrants.
A 20-year-old male attempted to rob another man at gunpoint in the bus zone. The victim escaped on a bus. The suspect fled the station, but was later located in the neighborhood by a sergeant and an officer. The suspect was arrested and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility for attempted robbery.
A bus patron reported a robbery occurring in the MacDonald lot. She stated there were three suspects, one of whom had a gun, beating and robbing the victim. Officers arrived and located a cab driver who stated he had seen three males beating a fourth male. GOA/UTL.
