An adult female reported to the station agent that she'd been threatened. Investigating officers learned that she'd been actually robbed of her cell phone in Hallidie Plaza. No weapons were seen . The suspect was described as a male in his late teens with gold teeth, a hooded sweatshirt, and a grey beanie cap.
S.F.P.D. reported receiving a bomb threat at the Old Navy store above Powell St. Station. The 4th & Market Streets entrance to the station was closed. BART police officers assisted with crowd control at street level. A BART police K-9 unit aided S.F.P.D. in conducting a bomb sweep of the store. Train service was not affected.

BART and San Francisco officers searched the station and did not find any suspicious device. Two BART Police bomb detection canine teams also searched the station with negative results.
