The suspect was described as a male in his late teens with gold teeth, a hooded sweatshirt, and a grey beanie cap.

BART police officers assisted with crowd control at street level. A BART police K-9 unit aided S.F.P.D. in conducting a bomb sweep of the store. Train service was not affected.

A female suspect called the San Francisco Police Dept. and said that a pipe bomb was placed in the station and then hung-up. BART and San Francisco officers searched the station and did not find any suspicious device. Two BART Police bomb detection canine teams also searched the station with negative results.
