Officers stopped a female (Desiree Nguyen, 24 years, Vallejo) who fare evaded through the emergency gate to exit. A records check showed two arrest warrants issued by Alameda County, totaling 12K. Nguyen was searched before booking and officers discovered she was in possession of narcotics. Nguyen was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.

Officer took a phone report of a cold auto burglary that occurred today between 0730-1900 hours. The victim vehicle, a blue 2013 Audi S5 was parked and locked in the small lot off Richmond and Central Avenue. The vehicle’s driver side window was smashed by an unknown object. Vehicle was ransacked but there is no known loss.
Patrons reported a male was creating a disturbance on a Richmond bound train. Officers intercepted the train and off boarded a male that was too intoxicated to care for himself. The male was booked into jail for public intoxication.
The male victim reported that after exiting the station through the south fare gates, he was approached by the black male suspect who panhandled for money. The victim voluntarily gave the suspect a small amount of money, before the suspect demanded the victim’s wallet. The two then struggled for control of the wallet, during which the victim gave the suspect $40. A short time later, the suspect fled, apparently toward the nearby station. Officers responded but were unable to locate the suspect. The victim, who sustained minor hand injuries for which he declined medical attention, further described the suspect as: in his 20’s; 6’ tall; 180 lbs; curly heair; wearing a black leather jacket, and shorts. The investigating officer will search for potential station video.

A records check revealed that the suspect had a valid stay away order held by this agency prohibiting him from all BART stations. A female victim reported that while preparing to enter her vehicle in the station’s north east lot, an 18-20 year-old black male wearing a black hoodie forcibly grabbed her lunch bag. As the bag was strapped to her forearm, the force used by the suspect caused the victim to fall to the ground – which in turn caused a minor injury to her hand; she declined medical attention. An officer responded to investigate, but the suspect was not located. The officer requested station video requested.
A victim reported that their blue 2011 Toyota SUV was burglarized, via rear passenger door window smash, while parked in stall 549 between 1900 and 2355 hours. The victim reported a wallet, cash and a miscellaneous item were taken during the burglary. An officer responded, processed the vehicle for fingerprints and completed a report.
