A 17-year-old male fare evader was booked into juvenile hall on a Contra Costa Co. warrant for auto theft.
Suspects involved in a purse theft at a nearby fast food restaurant were detained at the station and turned over to the Pittsburg Police after a citizen notified the station agent of their presence.
A patron advised the Lafayette Station Agent of numerous juveniles brandishing knives at patrons aboard the Pittsburg/Bay Point bound train. At Pleasant Hill Station, officers off-boarded a group of juveniles and confiscated several knives. There were no known injuries, victims or witnesses. The juveniles were identified and released.
