A 51-year-old man was found dead aboard a train. According to a BART police sergeant at the scene and the coroner, there was no evidence of foul play. The on-call detective was notified.

Officers detained the pair, and determined that the male suspect was in violation of a court order prohibiting him from being in contact with the female. Station Agent at Pittsburg reported a suspicious vehicle casing cars in the parking lot. The suspect fled in his vehicle with a passenger when the officer attempted to contact him. A short vehicle pursuit ensued. The suspect eluded the officer but the passenger of the vehicle was later apprehended by Concord Police.
An adult male contacted for illegally using a discount fare ticket was arrested and booked on an outstanding felony warrant out of Contra Costa County for threatening/resisting an executive officer.

While the officer was speaking with the suspect, a burglary victim contacted the officer to report the burglary to his vehicle which had been parked in lot 'A'. The suspect was found in possession of the victim's car stereo, other property belonging to the victim and burglary tools. The suspect was arrested and booked.

Arriving officers located the suspect, who was cited for possessing a simulated firearm. The station was temporarily closed and trains held for approximately twenty minutes.
In a late reported case that occurred 2/21/07 2100 hrs., a patron reported that her cell phone was stolen by an adult male who asked to borrow it, refused to give it back, and fled. The offense occurred in the bus zone.
A man was robbed of his cellphone when the subject he allowed to use it refused to give it back, battering the victim in the process. The suspect was described as a male 18-20 yrs., 5'7" in height and wearing a black hooded jacket with the hood pulled over his head. The suspect fled on foot.
A patron reported that an unidentified male suspect grabbed her purse from her shoulder as she was about to exit the fare gates. The victim and suspect engaged in a tugging match for the purse with the suspect finally gaining possession of it and fleeing the station. Loss was a purse containing a cellphone, cash, and checks.
