A victim reported that he was robbed at gunpoint while in the passenger pick up zone on the west side of the station. The victim had responded to a Craigslist ad to buy an iPhone 6. The victim met the suspect at the station to make the transaction. However, the suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded cash. The suspect threatened to shoot the victim and the victim surrendered $200 in cash. The suspect fled the area in a newer dark blue Ford Explorer. Surrounding agencies were notified. The victim was not injured. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 21 years old, with short hair and a beard, wearing a white tee shirt and navy blue nylon sweat pants. The suspect wore a black glove on his right hand, which held a black semi-automatic handgun. TSOC notified.
A victim reported that they left their bicycle (a Specialized Rockhopper 21 speed bicycle) outside while they went in to use the restroom. When the victim returned he saw a light skinned Black male riding off on his bicycle.
A victim reported the theft of their $500 (black) Diamond Back men’s 18” mountain bike while it was cable locked to the main racks, between 1430 hours on 9/20/14 and 1115 hours on 9/21/14. The investigating officer completed a report.
A victim reported the theft of his black/red Trek 21 speed mountain bike (unknown model or serial numbers) from the Pleasant Hill Station. The victim parked his bike at 0800 hours and secured his bike to the racks closest to the station agent's booth using a cable lock. The victim returned at 1630 hours and discovered his bike was gone. Loss was $400 for the bike and $20 for the cable lock. An officer completed a theft report.
The following bicycles were reported stolen while parked at the bike racks between 0655-1821 hours: • $450.00 green and purple Trek 850 Mountain bicycle; cable lock. 1409-3110 • $265.00 bronze and black Schwinn 21 speed mountain bicycle; three cable locks.
An officer responded to a report of a welfare check for a subject acting erratic on board a Pittsburg Bound train being held at the Pleasant Hill Station. The officer contacted and detained the subject. A wants check revealed that the subject had a misdemeanor $7500k warrant charging being under the influence of narcotics issued from the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. The subject also had an infraction warrant issued from this agency charging failure to appear. The subject was arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Jail for his warrant.
A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (an orange Bianchi 21 speed mountain bicycle) to the bike racks on 8/26/14, at 2230 hours. The bicycle was secured with a cable lock. The victim returned the next day at 0030 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $350-$800.
While on patrol, an officer observed a male subject urinating on the platform. A warrant check revealed that the subject had a Felony warrant for $30K for Burglary out of the Fremont Police Department. The subject was arrested and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for his warrant. The Sergeant responded to approve the arrest.
A patron reported by phone that their white unknown make/model 6-speed mountain bike was stolen from the racks between 8/9/14 at 0700 hours to today at 1730 hours. The victim secured the bike with a cable lock.
An officer observed a male removing a bicycle seat from a bicycle at the Pleasant Hill Station. The male was detained and a records/warrant check showed the male had a 10K warrant for theft issued by ACSO. The male was placed under arrest for petty theft and the warrant. The male's backpack was searched, prior to booking, and the male had wire cutters, a hex key set and rubber gloves in his possession. The male was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. A sergeant approved the arrest.
A patron reported that their red Diamondback 24-speed bike was stolen from the racks under the tracks, between 0855-1855 hours. The victim secured the bike with both a cable and a U-lock.
A record check on a person contacted for a welfare check revealed an outstanding $50,000 arrest warrant out of San Francisco for narcotics. The suspect was placed under arrest for the warrant. A sergeant arrived at the scene to approve the arrest.
A victim reported the theft of his neon green $500.00 Diamond Back men’s 21-speed mountain bike, which was cable locked to the racks, between 0800-1745 hours. An officer took the report.
A verbal dispute between cab drivers evolved into an assault with a deadly weapon (hammer) at the Pleasant Hill Station. The male suspect struck the male victim on the left wrist causing bruising. The victim ran to his cab and the suspect attempted to strike him a second time through the open driver's window. Officers arrived on-scene and detained the suspect without using force. An independent witness came forward and gave a statement of what occurred. The suspect was placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon and was issued a prohibition order. A sergeant approved the arrest and the suspect was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility. The victim declined medical treatment for his injuries.
An officer was on patrol when he heard a female screaming from a parked vehicle inside the parking structure. The female exited the parked car and walked towards the officer as the male followed behind her. The officer separated the couple and he saw the right side of the females face was red and swollen. The female told the officer they were inside a parked car arguing and the male slapped her face. She attempted to call the police but the male took her cell phone. The male was placed under arrest for domestic battery. The female placed him under citizen's arrest for preventing a victim from calling the police. A prohibition order and a temporary restraining order was issued to the male. The officer provided the female with victims of domestic violence pamphlet. 1405-4387. A records/warrant check showed the couple have a prior history of domestic violence with Walnut Creek PD. A sergeant approved the arrest.
