A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked in the lot between 2100 hours on 4/29 and 0900 hours on 4/30. Entry was made via smashing the passenger window. The interior was ransacked, but nothing was taken. The vehicle was processed for evidence by the investigating officer.
A victim reported the theft of their men’s silver Specialized road bike from the Pleasant Hill Station, between 1430-2010 hours. The bike was secured with a cable combination lock and had a value of $1300.00.
A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (a black men’s mountain bicycle 21 speed) at the station today at 0900 hours. The victim returned at 1430 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $40.
A patron was on a train when an unknown suspect grabbed the patron's iPhone6 and fled with the loss. The patron attempted to chase the suspect, but was not able to retrieve his property. The suspect was last seen on a SF bound train which was searched at Rockridge station, but the suspect and the loss were not located. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, late teens, 5'4" tall, thin build with wavy hair and wearing jeans and carrying a grey Jansport backpack. The patron's backpack, which was dropped during the incident, was turned in to the station agent at Pleasant Hill.
A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (Extreme electric mountain bike) to the bike racks on 2/23/15 at 0720 hours. The bicycle was secured inside a bike locker. The victim returned at 1656 hours to find their bicycle gone. An officer took the report.
An officer responded to the Pleasant Hill Station for a report of a male causing a disturbance by yelling at patrons on the platform. The officer arrived and determined the male unable to care for himself because he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The officer attempted to place the male into handcuffs but he resisted. The officer used force to restrain the male on the ground until additional officers arrived at the station. Officers arrived and the male was placed into handcuffs. No reported injuries. The male was placed under arrest for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
A victim called to report that her grey 24-inch Marin mountain bike was taken from the bike racks between 1830-2330 hours on 2/18. The bike was secured with two cable locks (one was taken and one cut and left behind).
A female victim called Pleasant Hill Police to report that her boyfriend had hit her. The Pleasant Hill officers contacted both parties and determined that the battery had occurred in the BART parking structure. The victim said that they were in an argument in their car when the male pushed the female's head down and her nose struck the gear shift. The victim had slight redness, but refused medical attention. She refused an emergency protective order, but was given the domestic violence resource information. The male was taken into custody by BART officers, issued a prohibition order and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for domestic violence.
An officer on routine patrol saw a vehicle driving the wrong way in the station bus zone. The officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
A victim reported the theft of their black/blue PK Ripper men’s street bike, valued at $700, while it was secured to the bike racks with a cable and combination lock, between 1400-1830 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A victim reported that he locked their bicycle (a red 8 speed mountain bike) to the bike racks on 12/28/14 at 0700 hours. The bicycle was secured with a chain. The victim returned at 1600 hours to find his bicycle gone. The victim reported he locked another bicycle (a blue mountain bike) to the racks on 1/2/15, at 0700 hours. The victim returned at 1600 hours to find his bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bikes is $350-$480.
A victim reported the theft of their men’s (black) Trek 10-speed bicycle, valued at $600, while it was locked with a combination lock at the station, between 0830-1800 hours. An officer responded and completed a report.
A female subject detained by an officer for reportedly being intoxicated aboard a train was found to have an outstanding $20K misdemeanor battery/assault with a deadly weapon, held by the Walnut Creek Police Department, for his arrest. The officer placed the subject under arrest for the warrant without incident. A sergeant approved the arrest and debriefed the subject, before she was booked into the county jail for the warrant.
A victim (S. Blair) reported the theft of his black Raleigh Firefly 18 speed mountain bike (no serial numbers) from the Pleasant Hill Station. The victim parked his bike at 0830 hours and secured his bike to the south bike racks using a U-Lock. The victim returned at 1720 hours and discovered his bike was gone. Loss estimated at $300.00.
An adult male subject, earlier reported to be involved in a suspicious circumstance/disturbance at the station, was arrested by officers for two outstanding misdemeanor warrants totaling $15K in bail amount(s). The warrants, charging trespassing and vandalism, were held by the Oakland and Berkeley Police Departments, respectively. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the subject. The subject was then booked into the county jail for the warrants.
The ISRC received multiple reports of a subject who was possibly intoxicated and harassing patrons on board a Daly City bound train. A sergeant was on board the incident train run and located and detained the subject in question. The suspect resisted the detention and tried to bite the sergeant at one point. The suspect was eventually taken into custody and later booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for resisting arrest, assault on an officer, and public intoxication. The subject was additionally issued a prohibition order. A lieutenant responded to conduct a use of force investigation.
A victim reported his green 1999 Honda Civic (4EUF139) was burglarized and appeared the suspect attempted to steal the car but was unsuccessful. The victim parked his car in space #841 on level 2 of the parking structure at 0815 hours and returned at 2045 hours to discover his car had been entered. The suspect used a shaved key to enter Honda and a partial shaved key was broken off in the Honda’s ignition. The Honda’s interior was searched and a garage door opener (50.00) was taken from the vehicle. The victim estimated a new ignition switch would cost $150.00. The victim declined to have the car processed for fingerprints. An athletic club card (Snap Fitness) was found inside the Honda and an officer will follow-up on this possible lead.
A victim reported her 1993 red Honda Civic 4 door (7BUL070 CA) was stolen while it was parked on the 4th level of the parking structure (stall #484) between 0700-1830 hours. No evidence was left on scene and the investigating officer is requesting video.
An officer performed a welfare check upon a male subject who was found to have an outstanding “no bail” parole violation warrant for his arrest. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrant without incident, and a sergeant approved the arrest and performed the post-arrest debrief. The subject was then booked into the county jail for the warrant.
An officer responded to an Elert report of a subject on the platform with his pants down. The officer contacted the subject and determined that he was intoxicated. The subject was arrested and is to be booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for public intoxication.
