A patron reported a burglarized vehicle on the 7th level of the parking structure. The responding officer located two on the 7th level and one on the 6th level with a smashed window. It appeared that the suspect smashed the window of all three victim vehicles and reached in to ransack the glove compartment. The officer was unable to determine any loss, but processed each vehicle and left notes for each owner.
A victim reported the theft of their men's TREK hybrid 21 speed bike from the Pleasant Hill Station, between 0720-1640 hours. The bike was secured to the bike racks (near the ticket machines) with a U-Lock.
A victim reported the theft of their blue 2008 Yamaha moped while it was parked in the motorcycle stalls of the parking structure, between 0700 hours on 9/13/16 and 2227 hours on 9/15/16. An officer responded and completed a report.
A female suspect was creating a disturbance on the platform when officers contacted her and discovered that she had a no bail warrant for public intoxication. No one wished to make a complaint for the original disturbance, so the female was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant.
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop and learned that the driver had an outstanding $35,000 arrest warrant for DUI, held by Concord PD. The man was arrested on his warrant and was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
A victim called to make a phone report regarding their vehicle being burglarized while parked at the station from 8/1 to 8/17. The passenger window was smashed to gain entry and the glove compartment contents were ransacked, but nothing was taken.
A patron reported that a male subject had fallen onto track #2 while running for a train. Officers responded and trains were held out. Before officers could arrive, the station agent escorted the man off the tracks, and train service was restored. Officers determined that the man had been drinking, but that he did not intend to enter the right of way. The man suffered minor injuries in his fall and he was transported to John Muir Hospital for treatment. Trains were delayed about 7 minutes as a result of this incident.
The victim reported that her vehicle was burglarized today while parked on the 4th level of the parking structure in stall #2770 between the hours of 0700-1745 hours. The victim stated that she locked her doors and rolled up all of the windows. Upon her return, her vehicle was unlocked and all of the windows were rolled down a quarter of the way. There was no apparent loss. The officer will meet the victim at a later time this evening to process the vehicle for evidence.
A victim reported (via telephone report) that their silver colored 2008 Nissan Versa was burglarized while parked in the 4th level of the parking structure, between 0700 hours on 7/8/16 and 1920 hours on 7/11/16. The vehicle’s right rear window was smashed to gain entry and a unknown brand portable battery charger, valued at $60.00, was taken. An officer contacted the victim and completed a report.
A victim reported that their vehicle was broken into while parked on the 1st level of the parking structure between 0715 hours on 7/8 and 1540 hours on 7/10. The rear window was smashed to gain entry and the interior was ransacked, but nothing was taken. The victim declined to have the vehicle processed for prints.
The victim reported that his 13' Toyota Corolla was burglarized today while parked on the 4th level of the parking structure in stall #3522 between the hours of 1000-1645. Entry was via a rear passenger window smash. The interior of the vehicle was ransacked with no apparent loss. The victim declined to have the vehicle processed for evidence.
An officer was flagged down by a station agent regarding an intoxicated person on the train platform. The officer contacted the male who became verbally and physically hostile. The officer used force to restrain and place the male in handcuffs. The male was booked for public Intoxication, resisting arrest and violation of probation at the Martinez Detention Facility. A sergeant responded for the use of force investigation.
A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked on the 6th floor of the parking structure between 5/20 at 0730 and 5/21 at 1218 hours. Both windows on the passenger's side were broken to gain entry and the interior was ransacked, but nothing was taken. The victim had already been driving the car before reporting the crime, so she did not wish to have it processed for evidence.
Two victims reported that their vehicles were burglarized while parked on the bottom floor of the parking structure between 1900 hours on 5/12 and 0610 hours on 5/13. A rock was used to smash a window of each vehicle. One victim reported a laptop taken and the other reported $60 in cash and a pair of shoes taken. Both vehicles were processed for evidence. 1605-0845,
A victim reported that their vehicle was burglarized while parked on the 3rd floor of the parking structure between 1815 hours on 5/10 and 0515 hours on 5/11. Both passenger side windows were broken to gain entry and miscellaneous personal items were taken from the vehicle. There were also pry marks on the passenger door. The vehicle was processed for evidence.
The victim reported that her 2005 Honda CRV was burglarized while parked in stall #2912 sometime between the hours of 0700 on 5/2/16, and 1212, today's date. Entry was made via a window smash to the right rear passenger window. The victim reported that the only loss was a pair of "Native" sunglasses.
An anonymous patron reported a male was threatening patrons aboard a Pittsburg bound train. The officers removed the male from the train and placed him under arrest for public intoxication. A records check showed the male violated his probation and was booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
