Officers intercepted a Millbrae bound train at Orinda for a report of a subject cursing at patrons and creating a disturbance. Officers attempted to detain and handcuff the female but she resisted. After a physical struggle, the female was placed in handcuffs and offboard from the train. The female was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for resisting arrest and creating a disturbance. A Sergeant responded to conduct a use of force investigation.
A victim reported his $400.00 white Giant Rincon 2000 18 speed men’s mountain bicycle was stolen while it was cable locked at the bike racks between 0715-1750 hours.
A record check on a person detained for a welfare check revealed an outstanding no-bail arrest warrant out the Department of Corrections for parole violation. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrant.
An officer contacted an adult male for fare evasion and discovered that he had $75,000 warrant for theft. The male was cited for fare evasion and booked into the Martinez Detention Facility for the warrant.
A victim reported that their 2006 Pontiac Grand Am was burglarized while parked in the east parking lot, between 1600 and 2100 hours. The victim stated the vehicle’s driver’s side passenger window was shattered, its interior ransacked and a $30.00 iPhone charger missing. As this was a telephone report, the recording officer did not process the vehicle for fingerprints.
A victim reported that their brown Volvo XC70 was burglarized while parked in the east parking lot, stall 1303, between 1230 and 1820 hours. The vehicle’s front passenger window was shattered and its interior was ransacked. As a result of the burglary, the victim reported the following loss: $200 in coins and a Wells Fargo credit card. The victim declined to allow the investigating officer to process the vehicle for fingerprints.
A victim reported they parked their vehicle (a 2001 Honda Accord) in stall # 414 of the main parking lot, between 0730-2000 hours. The victim returned and found their catalytic converter gone.
The Station Agent reported that a male “ has fallen down twice and appears drunk.” BART Officers responded to the scene and determined that the suspect was intoxicated in public. The suspect was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility.
A victim reported his 1997 beige Acura RL3.5 4 door (3XCP867 CA) was stolen while it was parked in stall #678 between 1010-1600 hours.
A victim reported that they parked their vehicle (a 2002 Honda Accord) in the lot on 2/13/15 at 0635 hours. The victim returned at 1715 hours and found their catalytic converter gone.
A victim reported his 2000 silver Acura Integra 2 door was burglarized while it was parked and locked in the stall #99 in the far west parking lot between 0700-1900 hours. The method of entry was unknown and a $300.00 Kenwood stereo was taken from inside the vehicle. Prints were lifted from the vehicle.
A victim reported his 2000 white GMC Yukon was burglarized while it was parked and locked in stall 1247 in the upper lot between 0630-1850 hours. The method of entry was unknown and two dollars in quarters were taken from inside the vehicle. Prints were lifted from the vehicle.
A patron reported that their white 1997 Saturn SL2 was stolen between 0840-2355 hours.
Orinda PD requested that trains be held out of Orinda Station while they searched for two armed robbery suspects who had just robbed the Shell gas station and fled toward the station. The two suspects, who were armed with handguns, were described as black males wearing black hooded jackets. BART officers responded to assist Orinda and Contra Costa County Sheriff's deputies. The Pittsburg bound train was held at the station with doors open, while other trains were run through without stopping. A CCSO K9 tracked the suspects from the gas station to the vicinity of the station and then searched the platform and train, but officers were ultimately unable to locate the suspects on board the Pittsburg train. The Pittsburg train was delayed about 37 minutes as a result of this incident. TSOC notified.
A patron reported a vehicle with a smashed window. An officer responded and located the vehicle in the lot. The rear passenger window had been smashed and interior ransacked. The officer processed the vehicle, attempted to contact the registered owner and left a note for them to contact us upon their return.
A victim reported the theft of their white 4/door 1997 Honda Civic while it was parked in the pay-to-park lot, stall 584, between 0520-1500 hours. An officer responded, unsuccessfully searched for the vehicle and completed a report.
A victim reported his 2003 white Dodge Ram truck was burglarized while it was parked and locked at the station between 0545-1715 hours. The method of entry was unknown and a CD stereo system was taken from the interior of the vehicle.
A victim reported via telephone that the catalytic converter was stolen from their Toyota Tundra while it was parked in the lot between 0500 - 1700 hours on 12/12.
A victim called to report that her vehicle was broken into while parked in the lot between 0715-1915 hours on 11/26. The passenger window was smashed and a backpack, sunglasses and a stereo were taken. The vehicle was not processed as the victim made the report via phone.
A victim reported that their black 2002 GMC Sierra was burglarized while parked at the station, stall #540, between 0530-1800 hours. The victim reported the vehicle was apparently entered via door cheat. As a result of the burglary, the victim reported the loss of an Alpine brand stereo, a Serius brand radio satellite receiver and a Blue Tooth receiver; total monetary loss of $1000. The investigating officer completed a telephone report.
A victim reported that their brown 2006 Nissan Frontier was burglarized while parked at the station, stall #518, between 0710-1715 hours. The victim reported no loss, but stated the vehicle was entered via a front passenger window smash. The investigating officer completed a telephone report.
An officer investigated the burglary of a silver 2004 Subaru Forester, which was parked in stall #354. The officer determined the vehicle was entered via passenger window smash; and its unknown name brand stereo was taken. The officer processed the vehicle for fingerprints, and attempted to make telephone contact with the victim. While the officer discovered this burglary at about 1430 hours, until the victim is contacted the exact time of occurrence is uncertain.
A victim reported that their beige 2002 Honda Civic was burglarized while parked in the west lot, stall #416, between 0800-1316 hours. During the burglary, the vehicle’s unknown name brand stereo was taken. The investigating officer determined the vehicle was entered via a passenger door window smash.
A victim reported that they locked their bicycle (a Civia Twin City bicycle) to the bike racks today at 0945 hours. The bicycle was secured with U-Lock. The victim returned today at 1545 hours to find their bicycle gone. The estimated value of the bike is $995.
A victim (S. Ahuja) reported her silver Toyota Land Cruiser was burglarized while it was parked and locked in stall #1043 between 0700-1830 hours. When Ahuja returned, he saw the front passenger window was smashed and his Pioneer navigation/stereo was removed from the dash. Estimated loss is $700.00. Ahuja’s vehicle was not available to process for fingerprints and an officer completed a burglary report.
