Two K9 teams were sent to assist Orinda PD after an anonymous caller stated that a bomb would detonate at the 1st Republic Bank construction site at Brookwood and Camino Pablo Blvd. No explosive device was found.
A patron at Rockridge station reported that he saw a man with a handgun tucked in his pants. The suspect was located on board a train at Orinda station. The handgun was determined to be an air pistol. A search of the subject's property during the investigation found him to be in possession of a stolen automobile stereo for which he was arrested and booked.
An adult male contacted for being drunk in public was arrested and booked on said violation in addition to having an outstanding warrant charging possession of stolen property.
A subject was upset about his girlfriend leaving him and created a verbal disturbance at the station. He was found to have a felony drug warrant and a no-bail misdemeanor drug warrant, for which he was arrested and booked.
Witnesses reported observing a black truck strike two vehicles in the lot. A check of the plate revealed it was stolen out of Concord PD's jurisdiction. The truck was recovered. The suspect was not located.
