A BART Officer contacted an adult male victim who reported the theft of his black 2002 Honda Accord (4VKB305) from the lower lot at North Concord Station. The victim parked his vehicle about 0730 hours. Upon returning about 1700 hours, the vehicle was missing.
Patrons reported a black Lincoln Navigator in the lower lot with a window smashed. An officer responded and located a Navigator with the rear driver's side smashed. The interior of the vehicle appeared to have been ransacked, but the officer was unable to determine a loss. The officer attempted to process the vehicle for prints, but the condensation on the exterior made it difficult. A note was left for the owner to call when they return.
A BART Officer contacted an adult male victim who reported that his green 2000 Honda Civic, (4MEK021) was burglarized at North Concord Station. The victim parked his vehicle in the station lot about 0850 hours and returned about 1430 hours and discovered the break-in. The passenger window was smashed and the interior was ransacked. No known loss at this time. Prints were lifted from the vehicle and submitted for processing.
A BART Officer contacted an adult male victim who reported that his black 1999 Jeep Cherokee was burglarized. The victim said he parked his Jeep at North Concord Station on 9/17/12, about 0900 hours. The victim returned to his vehicle about 2200 hours on 9/18/12 and noticed the doors opened. The victim reported his pocketknife missing from the interior. The officer dusted for prints, but prints were not recovered.
A victim parked and locked his gold, 2002 Toyota Tacoma truck in the lower parking lot (unknown stall number) at approximately 0930 hours. When he returned at 1210 hours, he noticed his rear sliding window was open, and he was positive that the window had been closed. Loss was reported as an I-pod ($50.00) charger and 8 keys (1 car and 7 keys to a building). An officer processed the truck for latent prints and located prints on objects inside the truck. Items were placed into evidence and case is being investigated.
A patron reported her green 1998 Ford Mustang was broken into while parked in the upper lot between 1617 and 1151 hours. Entry was made via a driver’s door lock punch. A pioneer car stereo ad sub woofer and an amplifier were taken total valued at $800. There was also ignition damage. The vehicle was processed for evidence and prints were lifted by the officer.
An officer observed a suspicious person riding a bike between cars, and peering into vehicles in the lower lot of the North Concord Station. Officer detained the subject and during the detention resisted the officer. Officer used force to place them into cuffs and subject was injured. The subject was transported Mt. Diablo Hospital. Investigators were contacted.
A warrant check on a subject detained by an officer for being in a dispute revealed an outstanding $30,000 felony warrant out of El Cerrito for possession of narcotics. The subject, identified as Robin King (W/F 4/9/66), was placed under arrest for the warrant.
COLD REPORT. A female called into the ISRC to report that she had been assaulted in the parking lot of the station after she got off of the last revenue train. The victim was coming home with a group of family members from a concert that was held at the Oakland Coliseum on 7/15/12. The victim mistakenly entered a white Dodge Ram that she thought was being driven by her husband who was suppose to be picking her up at the station. As she opened the door to the truck she noticed that it was occupied by an unknown male and a female. She immediately realized that it wasn't her truck, so she apologized and closed the door. The male driver then exited the truck and told her not to open the door that was near his girlfriend. The male then pushed the victim down which caused her to hurt her wrist. After the victim left the station her husband drove her to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a broken wrist along with some bruising to her body. The victim stated that she can identify the responsible if she were to see him again.
A victim reported the theft of his men's 21 speed, blu, Mongoose mountain bike. He locked his bike with a cable lock to the bike racks in front of the station today between the hours of 0830-1415 hours. Upon his return, the bike and cable lock were missing.
A man reported that his bicycle, and that of a friend, had been stolen between 1130 hrs. on 06/23/12, and 1700 hrs. today. The bicycles had been secured together with a cable lock, which was also stolen. One bicycle was a Centurion, Le Mans, men’s 10-speed. The other was a men’s 24-speed mountain bicycle (unknown make and model).
A patron reported the theft of his blue 21-speed mountain bike. He locked the bike to the bike rack with a cable lock on 6/13 at 0630 hours and when he returned at 0100 hours on 6/14, the bike and lock were gone.
A victim reported, via phone, that the catalytic converter was removed from his 1998 Toyota 4runner between 0545 and 1730 hours. He stated that it appears it had been cut off the vehicle. A patron called to report the theft of his catalytic converter from his 1990 Toyota pickup. The converter was taken while the vehicle was parked in the lot on 5/7 between 1230-2330 hours.
A BART Officer was contacted by a victim who reported that he discovered his vehicle broken into on 04/15/12. The victim stated he parked his 2006 Toyota van (6LSV964) in the lower lot of North Concord Station on 04/13/12 about 0930 hours. He returned about 1400 hours on 04/15/12 and discovered the vehicle was entered and the ignition was stripped. The battery and entire cooling system was also taken. The vehicle was not available for evidence tech work.
A man told a police dispatcher that the muffler or catalytic converter had been stolen off of his 2001 Toyota Tacoma while it was parked in the lot today between 1030-1130 hrs. The victim said that he would call back later today to make a police report.
The catalytic converter was stolen from a 1998 Toyota Tacoma parked at the station between 05:30 and 16:05. The vehicle had been parked in the lower parking lot by the stairs. The suspect removed the converter by removing the bolts holding the device to the vehicle.
Officers responded to the station on a report of two males kicking the doors of a yellow Mercedes in the upper parking lot. Upon arrival, the officers detained two subjects matching the given description walking from the station. The vehicle had sustained minor damage to the doors and side mirrors. Both subjects were positively identified by taxi cab driver who witnessed them vandalizing the vehicle but refused to make a citizen’s arrest. One of the subjects, a juvenile, was taken home and the other was released. A complaint will be sought through the District Attorney on both subjects for vandalism.1204-1228 L12.
