A victim reported that they parked their vehicle (a gray 2006 Toyota Sequoia) in the northwest lot on 06/20/13 at 0900 hours. The victim returned at 2100 hours to find that his catalytic converter had been removed.
A victim reported that they parked their vehicle (a 1986 gray extra-cab Toyota 4x4 truck) in the northwest lot on 06/20/13 at 0720 hours. The victim returned at 1830 hours to find that his catalytic converter had been removed.
A witness reported seeing a suspect removing a catalytic converter from a grey Toyota Sequoia. The suspect (WM, baseball cap) was using a battery operated saw. The suspect fled the area in a dark green Volvo with no license plates. Officers checked the area and located the victim vehicle, but were unable to locate the suspect. Allied agencies were given the suspect/vehicle description.
A victim reported his 2003 white Ford F250 truck was burglarized while it was parked and locked in the lower parking lot between 0530-1659 hours. The driver side door lock was punched and the ignition area sustained major damage. A wallet containing credit cards and a garage door opener were taken from inside the vehicle. The scene was processed for evidence.
A woman reported that the catalytic converter had been stolen from beneath her 2005 Toyota Sequoia vehicle today between 1100-1800 hrs. The vehicle was parked in the south lot. An officer took a telephone report on this case while assigned to the ISRC.
The owner of a 2005 Toyota Sequoia reported that the catalytic converter had been stolen off of the vehicle today between 0730-1800 hrs. The vehicle had been parked in the lower lot when the theft occurred.
While on patrol, an officer observed movement in a parked Chrysler convertible and found a man hiding in the back seat. The suspect admitted to the officer that he had broken into the vehicle. The suspect was arrested for burglary. A sergeant went to the scene and approved the arrest. An on-duty detective responded to interview the suspect. Upon completion of the interview, the suspect was to be booked into the Martinez Detention Facility. The on-call detective was notified of this arrest.
A patron reported that their black 2004 Ford Mustang GT was burglarized while parked in the lower lot between 4/19/13 at 1900 hours to today's date at 1700 hours. There was no obvious point of entry and the suspect may have used a shaved key or other tool to gain entry and remove the stereo.
A victim reported his 1998 red Ford Ranger was burglarized while it was parked and locked in the lower parking lot between 0900-2000 hours. The point of entry was via the driver door, and a Pioneer stereo with 10” Infinity Kappa speakers were taken from inside the vehicle. The owner declined to have the vehicle processed for evidence.
A man reported that his 2000 4-dr. Saturn vehicle had been burglarized today in the north lot between 0430-1500 hrs. The driver’s side rear-passenger door window had been pried open, but was not broken. A spare tire, tire jack, and an emergency-road service kit were stolen. The victim said that he could not wait at the scene for an officer. An officer took a telephone report from the ISRC.
A male victim reported his 2000 Saturn 4 door had been burglarized between 0430 - 1500 hours while parked in the upper lot of the North Concord station. The victim stated it appeared that the driver's side rear window had been pried. The victim reported that his spare tire, jack, and an emergency roadside kit had been taken. The victim estimated the total loss at $650.00. The report was taken via telephone so no evidence processing occurred.
A BART customer reported that her 2002 Dodge Neon was burglarized while parked in the lower lot between 3/24/13 at 0735 hours and 3/25/13 at 1445 hours. A Slim Jim was possibly used to gain entry. Several music CDs, clothing, and a GPS device were stolen. The ignition was drilled and rendered inoperable in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle. The investigating officer processed the vehicle for evidence and recovered latent fingerprints.
A victim reported the attempted theft of her red 1994 Ford Probe while it was parked in the lower parking lot, between 0705-1830 hours. The suspect(s) gained entry into the vehicle by defeating the passenger door lock. The suspect then pried the vehicle’s ignition and rendered it inoperable. The victim declined to have her vehicle processed for latent prints by the investigating officer and there is no video recording capability in the parking lot.
An officer assigned to the ISRC took a telephone report from a woman who called to advise that the catalytic converter had been stolen off of her 2000 Toyota Tacoma. The vehicle had been parked in the lower lot between 0645-2000 hrs.
A patron reported their blue 2002 BMW 325zi convertible was burglarized while parked in the lower lot between 0600-1555 hours. There was no obvious point of entry and the suspect may have used a tool to defeat the convertible top. The suspect removed the rear seat cover and the vehicle's battery.
A station agent report an adult male fare evaded out of the North Concord BART Station. A sergeant responded and the male entered back into the system. The sergeant located the male on the train platform. A records/Warrant check showed the male had a 10,000 warrant issued by Antioch PD for Theft and Failure to Appear. The male was placed under arrest on the warrant. A search, incident to arrest, revealed the male was in possession of a controlled substance. The male was cited on the Fare Evasion and was booked on the Warrant and the Narcotics Violation at the Martinez Detention Facility. Detectives were notified of the arrest.

There were no notable signs of entry into the vehicle, but the doors were unlocked and the interior was ransacked. Due to heavy condensation on the vehicle, the investigating officer was unable to sufficiently process the scene for evidence.
An adult male reported the theft of a catalytic converter from his 1991 burgundy Toyota Tacoma (5W78231). The victim parked his truck in the lower lot of the North Concord Station at 1000. When he returned at 1745 hours, he discovered that someone had cut and removed his catalytic converter from his truck, estimated loss $900. An officer responded to the scene and dusted the truck for latent prints, but with negative results. The officer took photos of the loss/damage to the truck. It appears that the suspect used a cutting tool to cut the exhaust pipe and remove the converter from the truck.
An adult male reported the theft of a catalytic converter from his 2006 white Toyota Tundra (8G36322). The victim parked his truck in the lower lot of the North Concord Station at 0800 hours. When he returned at 1625 hours, he discovered that someone had cut and removed two catalytic converters from his truck, estimated loss of $1,000. An officer responded to the scene and dusted the truck for latent fingerprints, but with negative results. The officer took photos of the loss/damage to the truck. It appears that the suspect used a cutting to0l to cut the exhaust pipes and remove the converters from the truck.
