Officers responded to a report of a subject chasing and yelling at other patrons. The officers arrived and detained the subject in question. A wants check revealed that the subject had a misdemeanor $75k warrant charging petty theft with priors issued from the SFPD. The subject was arrested and booked into the SF County Jail for his warrant.
A BART employee reported a male was masturbating in the stairwell of the Montgomery Station. Officers responded and detained the male at the station. The agent placed the male under citizen's arrest for indecent exposure and he was issued a prohibition order. A sergeant responded to the station to approve the arrest. The male was booked into the San Francisco County jail.
A victim reported her credit card that was lost while on a train from the 12th Street Station to the Montgomery Street Station was used to purchase a total of $153.00 worth of unauthorized Clipper Card transactions from a BART ticket machine at the Powell Street from 1300-1600 hours on 1/23/15. Video requested.
A station agent reported locating a small suspicious looking package that had a flashing red light on the north end of the track way leading into the Transbay Tube. The station remained closed as officers checked the suspicious device. Central was advised. Further inspection revealed that the suspicious object was an anti-shoplifting device deterrent. Officers working the protest took a suspect into custody as she intentionally held the train doors open on an in-service train, causing a delay in service. A Sergeant approved the arrest and the suspect was booked into the SF County Jail on the above listed charge. TSOC notified

The station agent reported a male suspect panhandling in the station. Officers responded and detained the man. No victims came forward on the panhandling violation, but record checks showed that the man had an outstanding $10,000 arrest warrant for brandishing a weapon, held by San Francisco PD, as well as four small infraction warrants, held by SFPD. The man was arrested on his outstanding warrants and booked at the San Francisco County Jail.
BART Officers were informed by the on duty Station Agent that a male fare evaded, the Agent wanted the male cited. The Officers attempted to detain the suspect and he fled on foot attempting to escape. After a short foot chase the officers were able to apprehend the suspect. A BART Sgt approved the arrest and completed a use of force investigation. The suspect was booked into the San Francisco County Jail.

Officers responded to a report that a male suspect had pushed a patron down the stairs. Officers detained the suspect and the victim placed him under citizen's arrest for battery. Record checks showed that the suspect had eighteen infraction arrest warrants held by San Francisco PD. The man was arrested for battery and his warrants and was booked at the San Francisco County Jail. He was issued a prohibition order prior to booking.
A victim reported that while in the Sutter and Market entrance/stairwell a Black male in his 20’s pushed her from behind, took her gold-colored iPhone 6 and then fled toward street-level. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect. The victim, who was not injured during the robbery, further described the suspect as follows: Wearing a black hoodie and a black back pack; possible “tear drop” tattoo on left check.
The San Francisco Police Department reported to the ISRC that there was a male subject who entered the station who had just made verbal threats to patrons at a nearby restaurant. Officers arrived and detained the subject in question. A wants check revealed that the subject was on probation for battery out of BART PD and that a condition of his probation was to stay away from all BART Stations. The subject was also found to be in possession of a suspected crack pipe. The subject was arrested and booked into the SF County Jail for violating his probation and for possession of narcotics paraphernalia. The original victim to the call at the restaurant did not wish to seek a complaint against the suspect.
An officer contacted an adult male for blocking free movement in the station. The male has multiple contacts for the same offense and the offense was likely to continue. The male was booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the violation.
The opening station agent was trying to enter the station when she asked a person to move so she could open the gate. The male suspect became angry and threatened to batter and "shoot" the agent. Officers contacted the male and the station agent identified him as the suspect. The agent placed the male under citizen's arrest for the threats and he was booked into the San Francisco County Jail.
A patron reported a female lying at the bottom of the stairs, blocking access. Officers contacted the female and determined that she had a $10,000 warrant for narcotics. The female was booked into the San Francisco County Jail for the warrant.
A subject detained for fare evasion by officers was found to have an outstanding $25K felony weapons/explosives warrant, held by the San Joaquin County Sherriff’s Office, for his arrest. The officers placed the subject under arrest for the warrant, and a sergeant approved the arrest and performed the post-arrest debrief. The subject was then booked into the county jail for the warrant.
The station agent reported that a male suspect spat on him in the Sansome Street hallway. The suspect was described as a white male with a beard, wearing a blue and white shirt. Responding officers were unable to locate the suspect in the area. On 9/29/14, at about 0037 hours, an agent reported that the suspect might be sleeping in one of the station exits. Officers responded and detained a male who matched the suspect description. The victim positively identified the suspect and placed him under citizen's arrest for battery. The suspect was cited for battery on a transit worker and issued a prohibition order. The agent was not injured as a result of this incident.
Officers were dispatched to a report of a subject creating a disturbance at the station. The officers contacted and detained the subject who subsequently refused to identify himself. The subject was arrested and booked into the SF County Jail for refusing to identify himself.
Officers observed a male fare evade by pushing thru the fare gates to exit. The male was detained and a records/warrant check a 40K warrant for burglary issued by SFPD. The male was cited on the fare evasion and booked on the warrant. The male was Booked at the SF County Jail. A sergeant approved the arrest.
A victim reported a woman took her wallet while she was on the escalator enroute to the platform. The victim stated a woman knocked a wallet out of her hands from behind, picked up the wallet while it was on the ground, and then fled from the area. The wallet contained a credit card and an undetermined amount of cash. There were no injuries and video was requested.
At 1652 hours, BART PD Dispatch was advised that an individual was under a train at the Montgomery Station. BART PD, BART Transportation, and SF Fire responded to the station. The individual was removed from under the train and was sent to the hospital for a head injury, unknown if life threatening. The case is under investigation. Train service was restored at 1745 hours. All notifications were made.
A subject detained for fare evasion by officers was found to have the following outstanding arrest warrants: (1) No bail misdemeanor – burglary – issued by the Union City Police Department; (2) $2,500 misdemeanor - narcotics possession - held by the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office; (3) $708 infraction – fare evasion – held by the BART Police Department. The subject was arrested for the warrants, and a sergeant responded to approve the arrest and debrief the subject. The subject was then booked into the county jail for the outstanding warrants and issued a citation for fare evasion.
A victim reported a person took a white Apple iPhone 4S from her pocket while on the platform, and then fled from the station in an unknown direction. The victim did not see the suspect. Video requested.
While aboard a Richmond bound train A female reported to an officer that another female threatened her and her eight year old daughter with a Weapon. The train was held at the Montgomery station and the suspect was located on car #1675. The victim reported that the suspect was taking up three seats and she asked the female to move so she and her daughter could sit down. The suspect drew a weapon (screwdriver), waived it in the direction of the victim and pointed the screwdriver at the victim. The victim feared for her life and the life of her child. A records/warrant check revealed the suspect had 6 infraction warrants issued by SFPD totaling 3,000. The suspect was placed under arrest for the warrants and for brandishing a weapon. The victim desired prosecution in this case. A sergeant responded to approve the arrest.
A male victim reported that he was sitting on the stairwell at the Montgomery/Post Street exit when he was approached by a male and a female suspect (BM, 20s, 6'2", grey sweatshirt and a BF, 20s, red sweatshirt). The female was holding a bottle in her hand and asked the victim what he had in his bag, which was on the ground near him. The male suspect then approached and punched the victim several times. The suspects took the victim's blue backpack, which contained a bottle of alcohol and his identification. They also took his black and silver Trek bike before fleeing the area. Responding officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim had slight swelling to his lip, but refused medical attention. Station video will be requested.
